Overall, very poor

Positives:

a point at Ibrox when 6 ahead is fine. Our defence held up fine. They didnt manage a shot on target.

Negatives: the way we refuse to change our set up is now verging on arrogance. Alloa, Dundee, Motherwell and St Mirren figured out how to score and even just shoot against this team. Brugge managed 32 shots in one game. Think we managed 2 after an hour.

Our midfield always seem 2nd best against them. Engels and Hatate did nothing as usual. McGregor cant boss the middle anymore. Maeda is a shadow of last season. Nygren clearly isnt a winger.

We are better than rangers in so much as we are better flat track bullies. We are better than them at grinding wins against your st mirrens and motherwells. But we havent beaten them in 5 games. We have sunk to their level now.

So, not the end of the world. Just very uninspiring

The only positive I took from today's game is that we never lost. Apart from CCV, I honestly don't think anyone had a good game and there are a few players in our team who were woeful today. Engels done nothing again, Schmeichel looked a bomb scare, KT looked a pale shadow of the player we all knew, Scales had some of his bomb scare moments, Hatate was invisible, McGregor just pointed, Nygren looked lost on the right and our manager is clueless against them. I'm willing to give our new signings the benefit of the doubt but it's clear that we are woefully short of what is needed

 

That should keep the happy clappers happy ffs. Rodgers needs gone the board need gone half the players are gone lol none coming in. Say goodbye to EVER getting CL football with the zero ambition our * have. And hibs and hearts will hump

Not as generous as a 7.5 for McGregor. Simply watching the game would tell you as much.

CCV was never better than Scales either.

Been poor all season, certainly not the only one, this time last season he had banged in about 3 or 4 cracking goals, must be you giving the ratings mate, a 5.5 to a 6 would have been about right but all the ratings look a bit high for me

 

McGregor wasn't our issue today, bar that lapse of concentration at the end.

He definitely was, but they were both good.

 

Mate Aberdeen were going to give us a challenge this time last season will drop by the wayside aswell eventually

 

Positions are positions regardless of the specific tactics.

You can be a winger and play more direct like a striker or like a more traditional winger.

Semantics doesn't change position on the pitch.

 

He's not really quick enough to play wide in the modern game but not sure if he has enough about him to be an 8.

I think he'd possibly be best as more of a 10 but that doesn't really work with the current set up.
