Sounds fed up

 

Ive been Rodgers biggest supporter over the years, even during the leaving and coming back period. But I do feel like he is getting away with murder at the moment.

The absolute inability or unwillingness to change tactics is verging on arrogance. St Mirren managed 8 shots against them in the first half and scored, alloa managed 3 and scored. We managed zero. Because we point blank refuse to risk losing possession. We refuse to take speculative shots. We refuse to go 2 up and simply target their weak spot.

Ultimately we get away with a lot playing in this league. We are good at beating bad teams. But we havent beaten one of the worst rangers team in 5 goes. He was bossed by barry ferguson at home. Now we can barely manage a shot against a team than conceded 32 shots against Brugge a few days earlier.

He has been great for us over his tenures but I will be happy to see a change when he goes.

 

Keeps going on about players being here for years and suggesting that’s a reason for the lack of spark.

His naivity is unbelievable. He left because of this shitshow by the board but than comes back without any securities from the board to invest better this time but claimes he has the last say in transfer dealings.

There's not a manager that knows how our board works and he does the same mistake again. Really not that smart.

 

Nine months now of turgid football with the odd exception of a good half or 20-30 mins here and there. It was also this way for all but the last 6 weeks of his 1st season back.

Over a full summer there appears to have been no change to tactics that were obviously falling flat last season. Despite the fact we have changed our LB for one that plays a completely different style and added a wide player(?) with no pace

Since Leipzig in november we have recorded a victory in 1 big game, against Young Boys, and even that was way more of a struggle than it should have been.

Failed to beat huns in a game for over a year. An abominabley * huns at that with 3 clowns in charge.

Has now had 5 windows since his return and, with the exception of the goalkeeper, not one single player added in that time is making a significant contribution or has notably improved us. Although, special mention to khun for an exceptional 4 month run. I get the whole board recruitment failings etc, but every other Celtic manager has worked under the same conditions and been able to add players that become mainstays.

Players we know are good players are/have noticeably regressed.

Get to the next international break and things haven't improved significantly, then we seriously need to look at getting rid ASAP. Really fear for the remainder of this season as things stand.

 

I've said it so many times in so many threads already, but everyone is creating about 30 odd chances a game against the huns and we are still just * about at the back. As bad as we are, teams worse than us are doing it.

 

I agree he looks bored and fed up. His football is pedestrian, conservative, and boring also. If he can't wake himself and the squad up, he needs away.

 

Think he can't get the team motivated for these big games .his tactics are brutal ..he has bring us success ..but the whole structure of the playing squad has to change ..I still fear John Kennedy will be next manager .europa league will be a huge test of where we are ..few hammering and the alarm bells will be ringing extra pressure as they mutants are in same competition as us now .Basically we need a fresh start wipe the lot off them out manager backroom scouts ..indept board ..just frustrating as the potential of this club is there but the board dont can't see this.

If he had watched Rangers play at all this year and seen how many chances they cough up under any kind of pressure, then you would think that he would have devised an approach that involved forward passing.

Another game of playing right into opposition hands because we refuse to do anything different ourselves.
