No, he is quiet. Hart and Taylor used to talk a lot, I see Schmeichel do it as well. When the chips are down, you don't see McGregor going to players and motivating them or giving them a kick up the *. I understand not all leaders behave like that but in some circumstances it's required. I'd like to see him do more to turn morale in games like those against Kairat. He could be significantly more effective if he was able to command in that way.

 

Simply not true. You need to pay more attention mate. He’s constantly talking on the pitch. He pressures the refs too.

The Kairat failure isn’t on him, he put Daizen clean through for that chance he should have scored for example. I’m sure we would’ve all like more but he orchestrates the team in every game he plays, just like Broony often did before him.

Callum playing the 6 doesn’t work and the past few years he has did ok against similar ranked teams but gets found out against better opposition , his legs have gone further and I think Engels best position is in there and would give us a bit more than Callum currently is

As one of our most senior players he's just not commanding enough, not vocal enough. He's been prone to a gaff now and again especially playing out, but they are becoming more brain farts rather than a lack of skill. Near cost us the game today with an absolute howler.

McGregor I never believed to be a good candidate for captain a great servant for the club, but not a captain and I think he got it due to no other strong candidates. Age and Rodgers tactics have ruined a decent player, not a great one. And the only time he appears vocal is when he's * off about a pass that didn't happen, considering his have dried up.

Rodgers as successful as he has been here he has played some * against some of the worst Hun teams ever.
Last seasons champions league campaign could be compared to meadas purple patch, a one off.

The board. Well they've always been *, but they give Rodgers money last year and look what he bought. We all thought that maybe this was a new dawning, then the following year they tighten the purse strings again because of ok Engels, poor Trusty and * Idah. Rodgers and McGregor will always have my respect but I think they are done.
