    Another game where we have proven, we can defend.

    Champions are built from the back. Gotta get our finger out and sort the attack.

    Also the manager needs to * off abd let us pass forward. Another thread for that.

    He had two passes early on in the first half that * me off (albeit the second one was more on Maeda) but overall he was comfortably our best player again.

    2 centre back and Ralston were the only players I'd give pass marks to today. Tierney did ok too but he looked the most vulnerable of the back 4 and was lucky Scales cut out a cross where Gassama burned him.

    Scales has proven himself here. People might say we need better but there's a lot more areas we need to improve on before we think of replacing Scales.

    Our best defender, but his distribution isn’t as good as Rodgers thinks it is.

    Still, played well, relative to the rest of the team.

    100%. Hes absoloutely just as solid as CCV if not more so in just defending. Just not the best at distribution. Need to change something in midfield because its like we've never actually got anyone open. Almost like we've had 1 sent off, and that's putting more pressure on scales to be.some pirlo esque defender.

    He got on the end of everything they put in the box today. Had a few ropey moments which is to be expected given the pressure but he deserves a lot of credit. He is as committed and hardworking defender as we will find.
