I think folk jumping on him (as well as the commentators here) after 45 mins in his debut away at the Huns, mental.

There's a guy out there with the captains armband and 500 games behind him playing mince. Tierney as well. We should be looking more so at them to take this game first of all.

And 3 out of those 5 were in the last Play-offs… so what does that say about him? He might be improving?

    No one is saying that.

But we need to be honest and say he looked reluctant/incapable of dribbling his defender (which many of us pointed out in his videos beforehand).

Doesn't look like a winger to me. Basically the polar opposite of what we needed.

Not writing him off but we're allowed to express our opinion on what we saw.

Didn't look promising but can't write him off after one game.

Clearly something is deeply wrong behind the scenes at the club.

He’s been thrown in at the deep end against them. We’ve had worse first matches who have gone on to be brilliant.

Bit it was concerning he could get back his man and run at them like the player we really need paying as a winger.

I just think it's a bit wild though.

His thread was the one at the top of the page at HT. Can take literally nothing from that 63 mins he got.

Folk are saying he isn't what we need after 60 mins. Mental.

Thrown in having barely gotten his foot in the door. Wasn’t great but he’s got ability. Looking forward to seeing what he can offer.

Another winger that looks like he can't take on his man...

Looks well capable of being on our wing. Dont run at fullbacks and turn back and pass it backwards.

    Great.

    It's why I didn't want him..

Said consistently that he looked like he had no skill or real pace to go by a man and looked like it today..

Those are underwhelming scoring stats from an attacking player no matter how much you try to dress it up

I actually thought he did very well defensively today and what's interesting is that on the Celtic Way YouTube channel the other day they had a Belgian football specialist who said in his opinion he'd be more suited to defensive midfield and I can see that, can't be any worse in that position over what Cal is currently producing as a 6 anyway

I thought he was fairly tidy, didn't lose the ball to much and was strong in the challenge. He was unlucky a few times the ref gave a free kick against him which shouldn't have been but obviously he wasn't direct enough and played very safe I won't hold that against him it's a big game to make his debut in and hopefully his confidence grows

Its no surprise the thread was active given he was making his debut and is a relatively "big" money signing.

If he can't or won't take a defender on, he isn't what we need. He made no difference to this fixture today. None.

Will have to see how it pans out but the immediate signs aren't great, we're allowed to have this opinion mate. It isn't writing him off.

Kuhn looked rotten for 6 months then lit the place up. Give the guy time, he’s come into a team and particularly attack which is absolutely stinking. If we get a good striker in and another winger then we can start judging him.

By all accounts he was excellent against the best teams last season in the playoffs
He didn't say he'd be "more suited" he just said he could have seen him playing there. The football specialist was complimentary about his attacking qualities.

I thought he did well for a fiery debut at Ibrox.

Didn't get much service from an anonymous midfield.

You can't judge him on that game....just as well because he showed absolutely * all, I thought he was *.
