Tbf to him the entire performance in both legs was slow, but it was something that stood out in both games. I don't know if that's because he's still settling in to our style of play, or because he's generally slow. Definitely isn't a pacey player.

 

I wont slam many players in all honesty except the obvious ones such as Idah and Yang and Hatate. Every single player over these two legs was complete * dogshit.

Its a more deeply rooted problem.

 

Genuinely should be playing him at ST. He’s played there before.

we see how Rodgers wants the strikers to play dropping in and helping build up play. Maeda coming deep is a travesty. Nygren would actually be perfect there and he doesn’t have to defend (which he can’t)
