'Honest' mistakes 25/26

So VAR didn't see it as a dive, wow, but at the same time not at all surprised. VAR wasn't brought in to eradicate this type of thing, it was brought in to assist the huns when needed and turn a blind eye when should be used.

 

I get what your saying but the Dessers goal, which was a mile off side... wasn't given by the linesman. I am sure it had to go to VAR. Maybe they felt they couldn't rip it to that level.

 

What I don't like about that is that it is a well-thought-out piece of skill in using deceit. The reason it looks convincing at full speed is the sudden change in his momentum, which is difficult to fake in a dive. It's only in the replay you can see that he achieves this effect by grabbing the Dundee defender's shorts and using that as leverage to pull himself back.

For me, that's not a technique that just suddenly occurs to a player in real time. It's not some spur-of-the-moment bit of cheating by a mostly honest player with a split-second decision to make in the heat of the moment, like Henry's handball against Ireland; it's something that has been thought out previously and probably used before. It's a pre-meditated bit of cheating using a cheating technique that the player had in his toolbox.

Two things: firstly, how VAR can miss that, I don't know and secondly, that player is for the watching IMO.

Expecting a plethora today.

 

Every goal we score will be micro analysed for a lengthy delay each time.

 

And any bit of contact in our box.

 

That hand ball that led to their only chance was laughable. Couldn't have beem any closer.

 

Also Shinnie 2 hands in the box when he was on the deck. Was it even checked, didn't see another replay if it was or no..

The dive by Devlin twice as well. Just laughable decisions..

Quite a few times we've went by them and been a wee pull also but close quarters..

 

Literally happened in front of Beaton's face.

 

What a horrible rancid fat orange * that Beaton is, a face only his mother/sister could love.

 

An utter scandalous 45 already so far..

Giving them fouls everytime they drop. Always around dangerous positions..

Blowing for them when we get near their goal. Stopping play for non head injuries when our players been hauled down from behind just outside their box..

Non freekicks that they almost went ahead for..

Plenty of fouls hes just waved play on or 50/50 and he's gone to them every single time..

 

The one thing I'll give to his credit was not giving a pen for the dive, other than that, * dreadful officiating

 

Credit? Was a blatant dive and should've been a yellow for cheating..

 

Robertson absolutely at it today.

 

How many times did he let Diomande pull people back from behind off the ball?

Incredible at any level how he stayed on the pitch..

 

Guy is a cheating hun rat. Gave them absolutely * everything.

 

What the * was he doing when we decided to pass the ball forward for once, he blew it 30 yards back on our goalline? I think he tried to * us with us having to play out back again.

 

This was a classic case of small decisions to try control the flow of the game in what direction the ref wants. Won't give big decisions (real tv VAR revuew not just yourube..) but plenty small decisions, like fouls that we're not if rangers were in dangerous areas. If celtic look to attack, no advantage just blow. If a rangers defender slips while our player would be through on goal, he'll blow the whistle. Even when 400 yards away and the lineman in line seen nothing.

All in, a classic case of biased cheating refereeing. Keeping away from big decisions due to VAR review.

Still, after a trip to China, extra time, away from home in the hardest domestic fixture, referee at it, us still not got all the players in, they still never actually fashioned 1 chance that wasn't blatantly offside. Linesman missed that aswel, he was to busy cheering.

 

Said it before the game..

Robertson is a cheat, gives them everything every 50/50 disrupts the flow..

Think hes being subtle.. but its blatant for me.
