It works in the sense that it would be an amazing combination. Where it falls down is that Rodgers would be about as enthusiastic about that arrangement as Gillette would be to give Alex Rae their new modelling contract and Ange is as likely to agree to the role as Ally McCoist is to win the Nobel Prize for Physics.

Other than that, it's an excellent idea.

Yeah, last season’s team with the pace of Maeda-Kyogo-Kuhn feasting on their disorganised high-line evokes images of pure carnage.

Wouldnt surprise me if they are holding back because if we go 9 clear its over. But if they win and 3 points in it, we will push the boat out a bit more

Can't wait to hear the back-up plan for when the Dolberg deal falls through. If you hear BR bigging-up Johnny Kenny and Yamada at some point tomorrow then you'll know what's coming.

Should be at least 2 cbs added to that list. Going into yet another season with Scales as first choice is a perfect example why we never progress as a club

CCV is not the player he used to be and we needed another at his level and got Trusty who's been bombed out for Scales.

My worry is we plan on shifting Maeda back to the right with the lack of RW links.

He's much better on the left and through the middle despite his recent form.

Does it really make a difference though. We all know his technical limitations as a footballer. Not as if he's a good dribbler who can cut in play a decisive pass or finesse one into the top bin. Would be more beneficial having Balikwisha out on the left so he can cut in.
