I refused to believe we would get an actual proper striker in, but that news report from Belgium seemed to suggest it was actually happening - along with Idah getting his medical in Wales. Finally, * finally, the club had managed to pull something out the fire and partially save what has been an industrial level *.

...Cue a few hours later and it's just the same old, same old. My first suspicion on this breaking was they were pulling the old "we tried" act. But it just can't be that. They are just that hopelessly * at their jobs that they cannot seem to do anything normally, like almost every other club in the entire planet.

Even if they pull this off, the stress of the last 24 hours once again puts a sour note against it and it is too late for tomorrow as well, which would have been the other great thing.

If we somehow still have Adam Idah in our squad after this window closes... It's almost like they are willing us to riot. Maybe they just want value for money for their fencing. Only used it the once after all. Pistol Pete and crew won't be happy with that kind of expenditure on hardware if it's not being used often enough.

 

I call bullshit on this party piece for instance we are an official gateway to the top five leagues especially England we are a bigger club than anderlecht to the point it outweighs the standard between the two leagues also we have Europa league they dont have European football at all also his international team mate and a here who had no qualms about coming here and played for anderlecht
I said earlier the Belgian media is arrogant as * and they would be sore if a top player like him left their league for us

Yeah, if he's not super keen on the move, we might as well move on, see if any right winger can be brought in.

 

I don't see there being any issues, no news is definitely good news . Bid upped and salary met, idah away within the next 24 hours hopefully

 

I think Anderlecht moving for Vitinha is a good sign alongside the no news front today. Seems to be a domino effect, and once that move becomes advanced I can see the Dolberg and Idah deals moving quickly. Seems unlikely to be today, one I can see dragging on until Monday. I believe the Belgian transfer window is also open until the 8th of September so Anderlecht do have more time to replace him.

 

Its obviously what the hold up is. Nothing more we can do until then imo.

 

This is what happens when you * around late in the window. Hence why we're gonna pay more than we would have wanted for this guy.

End of the window. In a fight wi another club for him, we're cash rich, then know we're selling another striker for £7m.

We need to be proactive here. Punt Idah. That bridge has been burnt. Offer the £10m (plus add ons) and get this done.

(Side note. No news is good news is one of the worst saying ever. Up there wi can't have yer cake and eat it!)
