Another board vs brendan *? I understand BR but we could release Adam. We have Yamada and Kenny. Ofc we still need a striker but just dump idah before they do research and find out he is useless

I feel bad for Idah. We can't take him back the fans have made up their mind, he's agreed terms & knows he off until we have his replacement. If this falls through mentally how would this affect him knowing he is not wanted.

 

For 9 million quid I expect an automatic starter who looks a different level against any defence in Scotland.

Idah is not that.

3 million, max 4, squad player.

Totally agree - it’s being managed dreadfully, which sadly is no surprise at all in this shambles of a summer window.

 

Only thing I can think of is this;
Rodgers has seen first hand the board sell kyogo and then not replace him.

it’s not outwith the realms of possibility that the board would sell idah and then haggle over £1 million and anderlecht turn round and tell us to do one.

Regardless if we get a replacement or not. We need to let Idah go. It's a shame he has been used as a * between Rodgers & the board in terms of Rodgers trying to force players in. This indicates there can't be much of a relationship between our management & board.

 

Imagine the hate if we turn down 7,5m for Idah, * the Dolberg deal and lose tomorrow. Wow

Rodgers is forced to play Shin instead of binning him out as a 'club' signing, goes on to be POTY.

 

Thing is, shins speed will actually help with how * they are at playing it out the back. So probably a good thing.
