We're going end up with Idah having not trained for two days and not in the squad for Sunday anyway.

 

I dont think he was fit for Sunday anyway. Didnt BR say he was injured at his press conference

 

It's interesting how you're willing to hype him up here but unwilling to give us parameters as to what will constitute him tearing it up here as some people say he will. Everything I have said on Dolberg is fair and measured. It's a substantial fee which I have no issue with us playing. I just happen to think some of the adulation and expectation on him is completely over the top.

Our fan base don't seem to do reason or balance well which is why I think so many people get annoyed me with. Every player has to be unbelievable or rubbish. Scales is called a Diddy and CCV our best defender since VVD despite there not been a whole lot be between them. Ralston is rotten yet AJ is an unbelievable right back when AJ might be a better player but the difference is not stark at all. Johnny Kenny is wrote off as rubbish after playing 266 minutes for us but Bowie would solve all our problems. Idah is an embarrassment yeah Dolberg would rip it up here and so on and so forth.

The bar is set so low for our "superstars" and so high for our "duds" that it makes it impossible for players to ever escape the tag they are assigned. I have been critical of Idah myself, I signposted he was running out of time and passing up too many chances so I don't know how exactly you proved me wrong.

If you are so adamant on Dolberg then give me the goal figures that will have him being an improvement on Idah. If you can't then I think it shows you are unwilling to ever appraise players in an objective manner as you can lower the bar for the players you said would be great.

 

Got my hopes up today but how its gone, we are a shambles I give up on this window

Belgian transfer window closes on the 6th September as well they at least have time to get a replacement in for their injured striker

Idah has been brought back from Swansea as we can't get a deal done as some Belgian papers has said their other striker is now injured worse than they thought.

 

It was all going too well this afternoon.

Will be * gutting if we miss out on him now.

Their other striker that's supposedly injured came on at half time vs AEK Athens and played the full 45 mins. Iv torn my ACL if it was that serious your not gonna be running about for 45 mins.

 

Mental that we * about over 1/2m on these massive game changing players but when it comes to spending 1/2 on some random we’ve probably found ok YouTube we are all over it getting it done.

 

Keeping it for deadline day I suspect was never gonna be cleared to play rangers anyway

Seems to be hunners of different rumours flying about. Lets just let it play out.

For all we know Idah is finished down the road and has to come back up here anyway. We won’t finalise anything till Monday either way I’d imagine.
