Celtic striker Adam Idah has completed a medical at Swansea City - but is sweating on the deal going through.
The Republic of Ireland hit man was in Wales on Friday to complete his move after agreeing terms on a contract.
However Idah must wait for Celtic to find a replacement as boss Brendan Rodgers and his chief stall the deal.
Swansea hope to get the green light but have their alternatives after a frustrating window.

Lets hope this all gets done. Best for Idah to move on and best for us to move on from Idah.

Just get it done, last thing we want is Idah taking the huff coming back here when his attitude is already beyond *.

He'll be away, not even worried. Just sounds like BR using him to get what he wants.

I'd rather sell Idah and fail to get a replacement than for him to stay.

Hes right Rodgers, can only let him go if we get a replacement. The ones above would sell just to get a good bit of the money back and give it the too late in the window * when we don’t get a replacement.

Would be typical of us to miss out on new players, them have to keep a player who's checked out already

If we had no other signings in the works I'd still let him leave and go with Maeda/Shin/Kenny as our forward options at this point, Idah is worse than a man down now and I don't think he has the mentality or desire to turn it around.

Swansea City are waiting on Celtic to green-light Adam Idah’s £7m move to the club.

It is understood that the striker completed a medical and has agreed personal terms with the Welsh side.

But he was called back up by Celtic after boss Brendan Rodgers demanded that the club find a replacement first.

Celtic are advancing in talks for Anderlecht striker Kasper Dolberg and are hoping to get a deal done in time for the Denmark international to be registered to face Rangers on Sunday, live on Sky Sports.

As things stand, there is no full agreement. But, if that deal can be agreed, Idah is expected to finally seal his move to Swansea.

Rodgers told Sky Sports News on Friday: "There is interest in Adam, but like l've said to the club, we can't let anyone go - especially on the front line - unless we have replacements.”

Rodger’s is 100% correct and I’m glad he’s came out and said that.* Twilight Zone this transfer window and last few days btw.

Would be a massive boost for the team and the club if we can pull off the Idah and Dolberg deals.

Not worried about it yet, he’s obviously just being used by the manager as a weapon against the board. He’ll know it’s an incredible bit of business to get that much for him and the board will be desperate to get him out the door, hopefully forcing their hand.

If things haven’t changed later on in the day tomorrow it will be a bit concerning.

I’m not sure he’s been called back, probably waiting down there in the lurch until we get Dolberg wrapped up.

Green lighted Kyogo and Kuhn without replacements but won't do so with Idah and Yang until replacements are in, this is all back to front

Doing a medical and then getting told it's off isn't taking the huff. It's * hour.

This is all happening in public with people celebrating him leaving, however he reacts not sure it qualifies as taking the huff.

He'll struggle to work with Rodgers too given he's basically using him as a bargaining chip.

Agree with this 100%. Everything about how we do business is so poorly thought out, reactionary and clumsy.
