It seems someone at Celtic has put the “Championship Manager” search filters on again because, you’ve guessed it, Boving has just entered the final year of his Sturm Graz contract.

 

If we 'Monitor' the situation he will be off to Mainz. We would be getting a 10+ million player for 3 million because he's in the final year of his contract. Should have this wrapped up already if we are genuinely interested.

 

Get him and Dolberg, hopefully not one or the other.

William Boving has today been linked again with Celtic as the club look for a striker.
The 22-year-old Dane has impressed for Sturm Graz and has been touted as a possible Hoops option as they seek more than one frontman.
Adam Idah is on his way to Swansea if Celts can secure a replacement but it’s Kasper Dolberg they want for around £8million.
Celtic have not yet reached Anderlecht’s asking price for the player but we can reveal Boving has not been floated as an option.
In fact, Mainz of the German Bundesliga have had two offers rejected by Sturm Graz for Boving.
It is believed £4m could be enough to land the player but no club have yet reached that number.

 

Would rather this boy than the Swede. The Danish connection as well with Dolberg and Schemeichel.

 

The player Boving comes down the wing quite a lot as well , good at dribbling with the ball and quick on the wing as well could do a few positions up front worth a punt for the Bhoys.
