I do think he is Yang's replacement, but does seem a bit pricey.

Why can't we just sign a RW :90:

He has a lot more about him but definitely not the best for end product in terms of goals but does create a lot.

Imagine a RW will be our deadline day buy, maybe a loan.

They can take a flying for that fee, a fairly recent cap for Tunisia in about 5 years of not even getting a sniff and Mikey Johnston stats over nearly half of that guys career span matches, is 2 or 3 times better.

And here can be the problem with leaving signings to the last minute. As seen with Engels and Idah.

There is a lot of pressure going on around Sebastian Tounekti .
Celtic are said to be interested – and have made a second bid of exactly 50 million kronor during the day.
According to FotbollDirekt's information, Bajen has now said no to that too.

Hammarby is under pressure with one of its most important names, but despite the bigger money in the bidding from the Scots, Bajen is holding out.

According to Expressen , a second bid has now been made for 4.5 million euros , equivalent to just over 50 million kronor.

This is a larger increase from the first, which was said to have been about 33 million. But according to FotbollDirekt's information, Hammarby is standing its ground and has also rejected this second offer .

Bajen instead demands a lot more – something FD reported earlier this week . According to sources, sports director Mikael Hjelmberg and the management want up to 80 million kronor for the successful winger who has established himself as one of the best names in the Swedish league this year.

It's almost like bidding for this lad 2 or 3 weeks ago before they had sold other key players might have actually been a smarter move.

    Who would have thought it?

Why do clubs in Sweden, Norway etc always raise the price after every bid. Thought they wanted £4.5m, then £5m will be enough, now £6.5m

Like us saying yeh £25m for so and so, they offer £20m and we say no £27m etc

In this case, they have sold 2 key players, the Swedish transfer market is closing rapidly and they're not going to be able to replace him so they effectively want a premium to let him go.

    Understandable, no?

If we actually stopped * clubs off by trying to lowball them and acted with urgency and made a reasonable offer in the first place, we might actually stand a better chance of getting the deal done.

It's probably more likely that it's been misreported and the reported asking price is an educated guess at best
