Not necessarily, plenty of players meet the club and travel about meeting other clubs without the media picking up on it. If he was at the game it would have been picked up on.

100%, I've been on here for 17 years. I'm not gonna just make something up that I can't prove as I've been on here long enough to know how these sorts of things get responded to. I expected ridicule when I first posted it but also wanted to share what I seen in the hope we would go on to sign someone with that haircut.

Lunch time

Lunch time on 20th of August on the day of the Almaty home game. I work at Eurocentral and the receptionist knows I'm a big Celtic fan. She told me that the players and staff stay at the Dakota the night before the European games and you see them walking around if you go out at lunch time. I took a walk over and there's a pond with coy carp at the back of the hotel and I seen this guy sitting there on the phone, I thought it was Nygren. I walked round the hotel and he walked by me going in and I noticed it wasn't Nygren. He wasn't wearing any club clothes and he was carrying one of those old school looking leather Adidas bags. I posted on here asking if we were linked with anyone with a Moritz Bauer type haircut. I thought he looked like Tobias Gulliksen from looking at Transfermarket.

 

It's not him.

He was in the Anderlecht training video that was released the night of the 20th. It's on Instagram.

 

It's only an hour and 40 minute flight

I would definitely take him, he done well last year for Sunderland and is one of those players that I think suits playing for a dominant team like we are in most games. His career hasn’t panned out as promised but he did have quality when here before.

 

Would love him back. Always said he's perfectly suited to how Celtic play and how teams sit in against us.
