With Idah almost certainly missing this if he's in "advanced talks" with Swansea, how do we play this??

Maeda up top and throw Balikwisha straight in??

Or a very long shot, sign a striker like Dolberg and throw him straight in??

 

Think he’ll go kenny from the start mate and maeda out wide. Forrest on the other side (if yangs away too).

I don’t think he’ll start Donovan but he should.

 

I think we will get a lot more space out wide in this game than we usually do so I would be ok with starting Yang and Maeda out wide.

They try to pass it out from the back and retain possession so Id go with a front 3 thats fast and instruct them to hound them when they have the ball.

 

If it wasnt rangers I think Maeda up front would be the easy answer but hes always had a great time playing wide against Tavaneir. If Balikwisha is fit to start I would chuck him in and go Maeda up front. Kenny is nowhere near good enough to start in such a big game and Shin doesnt look match sharp yet.

That said, even if Idah was still here Id probably rather take a punt on Shin so Id be ok with him starting given we have so few options.

 

High noon for martin if fecking rodgers gets his team and tactics right against them.... which he hasnt fir over 2 years so i will take a hun og in the 120th minute lol HH

I'd be signing Dolberg before midday today and get him straight into the team as well.

Both players will get more than a day training/getting familiar with teammates.

I'd be confident of the three points.

4 4 2. Centre backs can ping balls over top if being pressed or pass not on. Two quick forwards could terrorise them. Surely we can not go with same old formation/personnel.
