Agree. We need to take EL as seriously as the CL if not even more because here we can actually go far if we reach the level of last season.

That would allow us to register 1 more player for Europe as we can only register 24 players unless we add another nation trained player. We could decide to drop AJ from the squad if he's not going to feature for the bulk of it? I wonder if we will try for any Scottish trained player also.

The likes of Donovan, McArdle etc do not need to be registered as they are home grown and under the age of 21.

 

What’s the home grown quota mate? Is 6 what we need?

 

Minimum of 4 home grown and 4 nation trained players. Home grown players count in both categories so we need 8 and currently have 7 so 24 is the maximum number of players we can currently register. Does that likely point to us selling Yang and adding in one more player - either Dolberg or Touneki?

 

Mostly diddy teams in this tourney apart from a few big hitters. Knowing us we get out groups and can't handle pressure of a knockout tie and get knocked out by some middling team.

All I say to fans is when we do win some of these games comfortably this is not our happy place, it's the CL.

Another embarrassment

 

Seedings have little relevance now past qualification. Every team plays 2 sides from each pot.

 

Mate we just got dumped out by a team of farmers from who knows where, think we need to wait and see if we can put in a few performances before dismissing anyone as a diddy team at this point.
