So, willing to reinvest the £7M (€10M) from Idah. That's good business, if true... Which probably means it's a load of *!

 

Does anyone know why he is only 9m? Well capped by a good national team, coming off his best scoring season?

Not that i can have any confidence of us getting it done but the fact Idah isn’t even being kept until after Sunday by the looks makes me think we might be close to some sort of deal. So welcome to Celtic, Jamie Vardy.

 

Anderlecht are a shambles right now.

They have been in poor form, missed Europe/knocked out in qualifiers, and have a very bloated squad (think I read 39 players!)

They need to sell some players

 

The good thing is we literally cannot afford tofuck around.

If we want him then fee and personal terms pretty much need to be agreed today/tomorrow.

 

They have massive financial problems, like most Belgian clubs at the moment. I think only Club Brugge and USG are actually financially ok.

Additionally, he's nearly 28 years old so this is likely to be his last move where a club can get a decent fee for him. It's not lost money in the sense that he might fire you back into the Champions League and that pays the fee back but it's not directly from his transfer. You aren't going to sell him in 2 years time for profit or you're unlikely to.

Plus, Anderlecht have also signed another 2 strikers this window for about £9m. So, they may want to cash in on Dohlberg with no European football while they have the players in the door.

 

This rumour is too good to be true. He’s exactly what we should be looking for. Great pedigree, physical, natural goal scorer who’s just off the back of a very good season and has continued that goalscoring this season.

Due to all of the above, is why I’m not getting remotely excited for this one.
