Not as we stand, if we actually put some recruitment in then yes, that would be a reasonable target for us. It's certainly where a club like ours should be except for the * management from.the top

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
I will only take a big interest if we make the knock out stages. Do that and that is me very interested, until very hopefully that happens .uck it!!

Ok, as devil's advocate... We'll be stronger by the time we'd be playing those games, and 3 of the last 4 are definitely winnable, especially as we'd be at our strongest then... I don't THINK we'd have gotten 10 from that group, but I didn't think we'd be in a good spot after getting skelpt in our first CL game last year either, so it's not the stupidest thing I've ever heard...

Edit: *, I meant 2nd game... We romped the first, didn't we...

    I ran the draw simulator, for a laugh, and got the following draw;

    Villa H
    Lille A
    Crvena H
    Plzen A
    Forest H
    Basel A
    Bologna H
    Brann A

Realistically, how many points do you think we get from that, taking into account what activity you think will happen between now and the end of the transfer window?!

    I’m thinking 9 or 10 points!

    I'd guess at 8... Between 6 and 10...

Yeah, 8 is probably about right with the current squad and form. If we go out and buy a quality striker and at least one more quality winger (unlikely I know) we should be getting 10+ points from that kinda group!

Mate, kairat aside (or totally forgotten it ever happened) we genuinely would only beat Pafos there and that’s not even a guarantee. That’s a really hard draw

Newcastles Champions league route is * ridiculous :giggle1:

maybe the players were on to something not qualifying for the CL. Instead of being beat 6-0 each game it will be 2-0 now :56:

That's the spirit! Personally I'd say zero. Not that it matters anyway. The EL will be nothing but a weight around our neck and will only hinder our attempt to win the league. If BR had any sense he'd play the fringe players and prioritise the domestic fixtures. He won't, of course, because he, and others, still kid on that we have some relevance in European competition even though those days are long past.
