    We could play him for 3 years of a 5 year contract, sell him at a premium and he'd still have 5-6 years of his prime left in his career... Not buying this "career over at 30" nonsense anymore... It's not the 70-80's at all...

    Player I’ve wanted us to sign for literally 7+ years and always thought he was out of reach. If we sign him I’ll be over the moon. Won’t hold my breath though

    One of these guys that never quite reached the heights folk expected of him, but still has had a really decent career. It doesn't seem like the kind of deal we'd go in for cos of his age but I'd take him for sure. Playing in Belgium or whatever, you'd think the price has got to be well within our budget.

    Yup if this guy is signed, who is a REALLY good striker, and another winger, the assassinations on the board could be called off.

    Problem is that i will feel very angry if they * this up which i fully expect.

    Im not sure why he would join us though? He play in a better league, Anderlecht are also in Europa league if im correct?

    This must have been one that would join IF we got into the CL as he have been in talks with the club for 2 weeks. Perfect example of the type of player you can pull with playing in the top european competition.
