I agree with the winger but the boy from Boca would be pointless.

Donovan yes, absolutely needs to be starting before Ralston until AJ is back

A brave man to call this one, 2 poor teams that have just made absolute * of themselves in Europe. Hopefully we react better than them but the atmosphere will be extremely toxic and I would love to see us put 4 or 5 past them but our front line needs some serious injection of quality.

But fecking that we gimp Ferguson - ex-manager of top class teams like Clyde, Blackpool and fecking Kelty Hearts, now there's no denying that's embarrassing

Imagine walking out to that Tina Turner song after the week they've had. Mind we're still flogging Glen Daly to death though so maybe best not to get too clever about it.

If we don't beat this huns team we'd be as well packing it up. They are * woeful alot worse than us and that's saying summit.

Mentality test, this. Been too long since we've turned them over on their own turf, and if our players have anything about them they'll be seeing this as an opportunity to make a statement.

Crap teams both know a loss would compound their misery and put immense pressure on respective manager/boards.

What a completely bizarre situation never would of thought this a month ago.

Martin is already sacked. Just a matter of when.

Heard one of their fans say that if they get beat on Sunday and other results go against them, they could be bottom of the league. Hilarious if that happens.

Not sure about this. The new owners want a "live within your means" approach, so I think that was made clear to Martin, and he'd also have been given assurances that he wouldn't be responsible for any short term pain to achieve this.

He's got them to the Europa league stage which is probably more than wad expected when they got Pana in the first round.

However I don't think the owners expected the league results to be so poor, and the reaction to be so volatile.

So they've got a tough few days ahead

This is a unique situation of a Derby game.

Both managers Rodgers and Martin will come under unbearable pressure if they lose on Sunday.
I'm waxing and waning over how this game will go, given both teams will be going into it, low on confidence and spirit.

But ultimately, our mindset should be to go for their jugular. Be ruthless, show them no mercy, and establish a probaby insurmountable nine point lead in the league.

Why would Rodgers be under pressure ?

I think they’ll score, so we need at least 2.

Their left winger isn’t great but he’s direct, and Ralston turns like a double decker bus trying to do a three pointer.

Expect Hatate to be dilly dallying on the ball as usual and get knocked over by somecunt in the first couple of minutes, before proceeding to apologise to the oppostion and help pick them up.

    Dreading it.

Leaving Hatate out is key. He is a empty jersey that leaves yhe midfield wide open

That's a bit of an academic question actually. :giggle1:

Just consider, the Celtic fans and Board fully expected Brendan to be able to negotiate the two ties against a mob of journeymen footballers from Kairat with the squad at his disposal, not perfect in any means, but it should have been adequate, I don't think any of us had even heard of this mob before ? He failed. £40M Champions League money down the tube. The Celtic Board know Brendan is on the last year of his contract, and his future is up in the air, there are rumours Nottingham Forest want him as their manager. It would be foolish to think the Board are not already planning and scouting for his successor, Brendan will know this too. If we lose to Rangers on Sunday, the storm clouds will gather even more over his future. The Celtic fans and Board are still raging us losing over to these No Marks from Kairat, the Huns getting beat by a top pedigree club like Club Brugge, with a top manager is not a like for like comparison imo.

Brendan needs a draw at least imo, to stop the vultures circling.

Comparing Rodgers situation to Martin’s is ridiculous. I’m not a massive Rodgers fan but he’s won countless trophies for us, Martin has hardly won a game for them ffs.
If we don’t win on Sunday Rodgers will get some deserved criticism like he got the other night but no more than that.
