    Anybody watch this last night ?.

    Why did we ever let this guy go :97: he ran the show last nite and he actually makes Hartley and Robson look utter pish. Hes got drive and can go forward but he also gets back and defends quite well aswell.

    His passings quality aswell :38::celt_2:

    Any thoughts ?

    We never let anyone go, the greeting faced wee * tried to ruin our title celebrations with his mumping and moaning then we sold him for a hefty profit.

    How could he possibly make Robson and Hartley look * when he wasn't playing against them? Are you just looking for another excuse to moan at our team again?

    Petrov would walk back into our midfield, hes miles better than what we have at the moment, but HE chose to leave. He wasnt forced, he wasnt chased out the door, he CHOSE to leave.

    When you have a greeting whinging faced * like that floating about, its bad for morale, and bad for the fans. We made a wedge off him, and he scored goals when he was here. Attitude was rotten though, as he proved at the end !!

    Mate hes clearly * well better than what we have in the centre of midfield if you cant realise that then i guess Celtic will go nowhere. Ehn no im not having a dig at the team im just saying hes well good. Read RabT's post above.


    Does it not tell you something when Maloney didnt get a game at Villa ? whereas Stan plays week in week out ?

    He struggled as well at the start and in fact the Villa fans liked Maloney and thought Petrov was an expensive mistake up until this season.

    It's good to see him do well, i agree, but we've moved on and he didn't want to play for us. No point discussing something that would never have materialised.

    We didn't let him go, he was moany little * and wanted to leave. He played well, but overall he hasn't been great for Villa.

    Last season he had got droped a few times because he was not playing good at all. A couple of goals or so and many rotten performanmces. Was great last night and probaly his best performances in a villa shirt of what ive seen.

    Meh, decent at best. Barry was the one who did the business for Villa in midfield.

    Stan has probably been our best player overall this season, just about the only one yet to have a bad game. Barry was the best player on the part yesterday and like somebody already said.. it the Spurs midfield, hardly the most difficult to dominate with their bunch of over-rated lightweights.

    He was a quality player, but he just didn't have it in his heart to grind it out in the SPL all year long. It's good to see him doing well, as it was apparent he took to the club.
