In his defence and as a skeptical guy when it comes to this transfer, attackers in the Swedish league that go on to get impressive goalscoring records and assists in other better leagues never have as impressive record in Sweden.

You rarely see players get many goals in a season as the goals are always spread all over the field

That is true, but also changed over recent years. Allsvenskan is much more attacking and clubs scoring more goals nowadays. In this case you have a guy with underwhelming stats, who was hyped prior to the season, but not delivered as expected. His attributes are interesting, especially his pace, so if you buy him, its because we can see a player that we can be patient with and support over the next couple years, and hopefully see taking the next step. But this is more of a risk than I would like to take for that money. I don’t think he is ready for Celtic, and nlt at the level we require. He has struggled somewhat, or at least more than expected in the Swedish league, I think he would struggle a bit playing for such a big club like Celtic.

I would rather go for Elliot Stroud, in Mjällby, similar profile, but we would get him cheaper and he is a better player.

 

I slated him yesterday as when i have seen him i have not been to impressed, but maybe my rage of the Almaty game speaking.

I spoke with a Hammarby fan now and he said that he is a really good winger. I just want us to go for a more impressive target, especially after this crazy window.

 

I think he can be, but he is not there yet. Think Celtic is too big of a step. I also know Hammarby fans who have been disappointed so far, or at least excepted more.

 

Just looks very average to me no better than Tilio Yang, Palma or even Mikey Johnson when we punted him. That Halmstad team are near the bottom of the league as well and thats supposed to be his standout game. Also says a lot about our academy if their saying this guys better than any of the young lads coming through

 

I have zero faith in our scouting. This guy will be pish. Another dud winger, Just like Palma, just like Yang, just like Haksabanovic, just like 90% of who we bring in.

 

@Skelleto apparently Swedish transfer window closes tomorrow and if Hammarby want replacements this needs done today! Have they been linked with any replacements for him in Swedish papers?

 

I don't know tbh as i am one of these guys that boycott media completely. Just feeds you with negativity but i can dig a little.
