Hayato Inamura

Celtic are looking to put new signing Hayato Inamura out on loan ahead of the transfer deadline.


The Scottish champions only signed the versatile defender from Albirex Niigata last month.

The Hoops have now alerted clubs that the 23-year-old is available for loan and are looking for his wages to be covered.




Inamura made his Celtic debut in the weekend win over Livingston, but Celtic’s move is not really a surprise, as manager Brendan Rodgers has been far from convinced by the Japanese player.


When Inamura was signed he was asked if he would be part of his first-team, he answered: "No, he won't be. He's a part of the investment of the club."

Rodgers’ position then looked to have softened when Inamura impressed in pre-season but the writing was on the wall again when he was left out of Celtic’s squad for their Champions League play-off with Kairat.



Rodgers had previously said it was an easy decision because Inamura wasn’t quite at the level yet.


He claimed: “He's not quite at the level, as of yet, that I would expect.



The plan for Ina was to come in and train and see where he was at, with the possibility of going out on loan because he's only had a year's football.”

 

Still think we're making a mistake loaning him out.

 

Is there anything more predictable than him looking better than the boy from Boca

 

Change his name to Inamurinho and Rodgers would suddenly realise he's got some ability.

Rodgers is a * at spotting any talent.

 

Moves the ball quickly. Can't be having that.

 

For me from what I have seen I would have though he would have been fine as back up to Tierney domestically and with Scales able to move over to left D at times as well seemed like we had enough cover there for Inamura to stay and then no need to sign the Uruguayan lad at all.

 

He currently looks better than the boy from arsenal

 

Realistically who are we loaning him to? Zero point loaning him to a Livi or Killie who play zero football from the back. He needs to go to a team playing good football, that leaves likely Falkirk or Motherwell if he’s staying in Scottish football which he should be.

 

He should be playing as we will get 90 mins from him not * 60. As I said Tierney is like a man down when he cant get 90 mins in a game . Ok he has good crossing and play at times but * me im 64 and just dine the * alps surely he can move and run for 90

 

There is * all point loaning him out to most Scottish teams imo, unless a team like hibs go on to have another strong season.

Otherwise he isn't getting a loan to any English championship side nor a league 1 side or any real European league for that matter.

* use him with us in the domestic campaign and manage KT

He needs to be called Harry Ingram and cost £7m after 2 years at West Brom. Then Brendan would have a hard on for him

Why do performances not matter to Rodgers?

 

Football snobbery.

 

No players get into his team on merit.

only now due to injuries has Donovan been forced upon him, was all but loaned out until AJ got injured.

hes had a hard on for Murray since the first time he saw him so regardless of performances last year he would see past that for him. (Does look better than our other centre halves tbf tho!)

Idah continuing to play purely cos HES the player Rodgers wanted to prove the board backed him. We paid big and over the odds for him cos Rodgers said he only wanted him. It’s so obvious….and because of that he doesn’t drop him when it’s warranted. Kenny and Yamada both hungry and also looked good at the weekend. DROPPED.

* ridiculous too cos the only bad player we’ve had from that league is Kobayashi. (Who actually seems like he’s done okay since leaving)
Ideguchi was just injured the whole time so never really even seen him.
Iwata was a player (proven that at Birmingham since) we just didn’t need someone so defensive as mcregor played that role alone.

then kyogo and maeda don’t even need an explanation.

Just cannot understand his instant disregard of Inamura when stevie wonder could tell he was a good player.

 

So many things that he says and does contradict each other in the extreme.

Has criticised Inamura for apparent defensive frailties and said he couldn't put him into the UCL, yet constantly played Greg Taylor in the same competition who cost us time and time again.

Talks about Celtic being a different animal against Kairat Almaty in the second leg, then proceeds with the exact same game plan as the first leg and produced an even worse performance.

Just a constant bullshitter and we get played all the time by him. Yet we just accept it and lavish him with praise anyway for the most part
