He is one of the few im not overly worried about. Even though he have been * *, he is a pro and i think he is very respectful. I just think he dont know what leg to stand on atm not knowing if he will be here next week. When the window closes he will come good which is no excuse for the previous performances.

Last night should kill any talk of him being our no1 striker.

Infuriating. Don't trust him whatsoever in front of goal.

He seems to have gone back to the guy we seen prior to last season the unpredictable player lacking in composure I hope it doesn't turn out last year was just a blip and he has regressed to his level

I think it's abundantly clear that last year was very much a blip.

The way he casually took both the pen in the cup final as well as last night isn't that of a respectful or professional player.

He looked like he couldn't be arsed.

I'd genuinely have had scales take a pen before him. His technique is * awful.

Aye I totally agree his poor finishing cost us over the two legs. But he'll bounce back I think

I love him and always will.

But it is obvious he the definition of athlete over footballer we see getting argued more and more with today's game.

The way he took his penalty I thought was extremely unprofessional. Had no intensity just a causal run up and basically like he was passing the ball 15/20 yards. Same in the cup final if I remember correctly.

    It was the exact same.

And it was the same against the Huns, he just got away with it that day.

Get this imposter as far away as possible from the club, I'd flog him for £5M tbh now.

I don't want to have to suffer any more of his idiotic attempts at pretending to be a professional footballer, never mind a Celtic footballer, his stupid clean air swipes, his falling on his * all the time, feeble penalties, and complete lack of composure in one on ones when clean through on goal.

He cost us the Scottish Cup, now he has cost us the Champions League.

    Just * off already.

I love him but it's mad he's ended up being the guy we rely on in attack.

Rewind two years and he was the one we all felt needed improved, offered a lot defensively but going forward was suspect. Mad we've come to the stage where he's the guy we hang our hat on to score goals.

    Spot on.

He was the weak link in our attack. Forrest was relegated to about 4th/5th choice winger. Scales was on the verge of being punted to Aberdeen.

Now we’re relying on them in a CL qualifier.

    The downsizing is remarkable.

I’ve no hard feelings towards him at all, he was instrumental in so many games for us with his pace & energy plus the goals he added last 2 years but time to move on.

He’s lost that motivation and can’t really blame him, he was never Kyogo’s replacement but done a * brilliant job of it 2nd half of last season. Time to get quality in the door.

Another I won’t be getting on the back of personally. Provides things no other player does and is taken for granted for it.

His stats last season also make a mockery of the criticism he still recieves. His output is inconsistent as opposed to non-existent.

Has had a poor start to the season but if we lose him we are absolutely *. It doesn’t even bear thinking about.

Completely right mate but I think the board will see the chance to make money on him and he himself might think the times right for a new challenge.

The worry is we won’t replace him with anyone at all capable of replicating Maedas career with us.

Hes missed some important chances now, Huns away, Cup Final and 2 in the CL Qualifier..

    Pathetic finishing really.

Looks stale, along with a few others.

A front 3 of Yang Maeda Forrest, it says it all.

To think our front 3 last year was either Maeda Kyogo Khun or Jota Maeda Khun shows how far off it we are, how far we’ve fallen.

It’s a disgrace all caused by the board.

Hanging Maeda out to dry isn’t right.
