You know what's the worst thing? Lawwell and Desmond Senior won't be here in 10 years (if they're no Mugabe). But than Desmond Junior will take over and it will be de same * :giggle1:

If he would be bothered he would have told his da to give him the permission to rebuild the club already. Guess we must hope he is a greedy spoilt kid that just want the money so he sells us once his da dies :giggle1:

The board are filling the squad with mediocre players. Why not use the money wasted on cross like Yang, Kwon, Tillio, Inamura, Osmand etc to get better quality in 1 position and promote youth as their backups? Colby Donovan and Dane Murray were our best players last night

See, these greedy * can't even be consistent. If they want to penny-pinch their way to Scottish dominance, why appoint a fancy manager on a big wage that they know will demand big signings?

They instead give him a bunch of cheap players he doesn't want, so he mopes, and ultimately a lot of money is wasted.

A manager who is happy to work with what he is given will produce far less tension, and save the club money.

It's almost as if the board get off on the act of fighting the manager and sabotaging him.

    They've done us again..

This should be hammered home everywhere they go that this won't go away and be forgotten..

The self sabotage is so extreme it's almost deliberate. To fail all window in getting us in a strong position for this qualifier, after what was achieved last year. The money brought in. The sales. The money we already have banked. It's sickening that they've no backed the manager and put us in a good position in what was a dream draw on the face of it..

Can't remember being this scunnered by them. Covid season was a freak anomaly. Seville killed me but was proud of our run. Been others Maribor etc where been deflated..

This ones took the biscuit though. Purely because it seems so deliberate as ive said. We were on the cusp of going places. Restored some European pride. Feelgood factor. That buzz is completely gone and the reality bites..

Even now at graft my nut actually feels in a daze. My boy was saying aye we'll go far in the Europa and this and that. I didn't have the heart to tell him what kinda season I can envisage on that front..

Why they've done this from within, only they really know. Tight. Struggle with Rodgers. Recruitment failing. Or anything more sinister but....it's shocking..

    * them..

6 months ago we felt great after going toe to toe with Bayern.

Flash forward to now and its like being back during Covid. They are continually sapping ANY joy from supporting this club.

The vast majority of fans cannot understand/get their heads around what the * is going on.

There is no excuse for this level of negligence. They cannot be silent this time. Just can't.

Coming off the back of a decent season last year we should be going into this season extremely positively. And we aren't. And we are also going to allow a shocking Hun side a lifeline...watch this space.

To make matters worse is that historically we would be out on our * earlier in the qualifiers giving us time to get players in the door to save the season.

It’s happened under every manager, a disconnect between progression and profiteering while being risk averse. We are being run by a bank only interested in a safety net that could support the entire league for 2 years and now they will want to sell players to make up for the CL shortfall.

We had it under Lenny first time, then they went cheap with Ronny, Rodgers first time round not backed enough, cheap option again with Lenny, didn’t back Ange’s vision and now same again with Rodgers. From a position of power we have only went backwards every single * time.

It’s upto us to change it, the board needs to change and fans needs to push that change. Unfortunately a win on Sunday will mean all is forgotten and forgiven as we move on. Can also see us doing really well in EL as well which would again just further strengthen the boards position. Scunnered with the cycle.

Every fan, except facebook fans ofc, said not to take a 50 million pound gamble. The board took the gamble and lost. Heads need to roll

    Complete and total negligence.

The fact they wait every year to see if we’re going to qualify or not before spending any decent money is a disgrace. Just shows the mentality.

The Celtic inquest is well underway - and it’s not claimed to be CEO Michael Nicholson who is making many of the final calls around the Premiership champions.

Kairat Almaty have knocked the Hoops into the Europa League after a dire 0-0 draw over two legs against the Kazakhstani side showed up a slow summer transfer window, Brendan Rodgers’side eventually losing on penalties. They have now missed out on the riches of Europe’s top table in embarrassing fashion, just months after almost knocking Bayern Munich out the competition at the knockout play-off round stage

Fans have lamented the board this summer, with CEO Nicholson and chairman Peter Lawwell taking their share of the blame. On Sportsound’s coverage of the match, BBC Sport Scotland’s chief sports writer Tom English that Nicholson’s power is belittled in terms of decision making, as it’s major shareholder Dermot Desmond who’s the real powerbroker. Desmond is rarely spotted at games or at the club’s AGM, and fans do not regularly here from the man who is claimed to be the most influential person in terms of Celtic decision making.

English said: “I know that Dermot Desmond is the one who makes the decisions. Michael Nicholson will have a certain amount of power, but I think everything and all the key decisions have to go through Dermot Desmond. So that's the galling thing, that they've done this to themselves

They have fallen asleep at the wheel. They've done it before and they've got away with it. They've done it before and haven't got away with it. They've done it now and again, they haven't got away with it. And this is, I mean, this is shocking.

Aiden McGeady was also on the panel and the former Celtic winger says his ex side have paid the costly price for not preparing effectively for the challenges in front of them. He said: “Would I say I'm angry? I wouldn't say I'm angry but very disappointed with just what I've seen over the two legs.

MN will get the blame but it’s on Desmond and the board as a whole. 31% shareholder dictating the club like his little puppet.

The * don't seem to understand the players need help and when the suits refuse to strengthen, them players feel sabotaged as well as the fans and the manager.

The negativity could be seen when we played the first leg we were a team deflated, in the second leg Rodgers was making sure we lasted the game and never gassed out but we were powder puff until we let loose late on and that was too little too late.

The board room should be made to answer for themselves and why they didn't strengthen in the obvious areas but they won't they are absolute cowards

Keep repeating myself but what the * is the plan for this money in the bank???

The lack of coherent strategy, vision and the radio silence communication from these * is mental.

Even if we somehow win at the weekend, the board deserve absolute fury from the fans at the next home game.
