£10m-£15m spend can be looked at us upping the odds but no guarantees, we already vastly outspend the opponents directly up against to secure that £40m.

So with that vast outspend of who we are facing? Will £10m-15m for better odds against them be worth that.

Especially when the guys that bridge a financial gap between them aren’t in the equation like the 17 year old * going to Chelsea or main striker,

i * off the just company bit halfway through trying to play along with it there, because you are spot on. But business wise? Money wise? We should dismiss Kairat easily, football isn’t just down to Maths.

I could not give a *. If we spent a fee on another player, but 27 year old Messi on a bosman for us? Mental hypothetical no fee but wins it. Back the * team, have us as covered as possible anf that’s it

I'm * bored of it to be honest mate.. Supporting Celtic is like groundhog day. Every year its the same. Beat Livingston, Dundee, County, hearts, hibs etc.. out the door with 10 men behind the ball and then get humped in Europe to any team with half a plan

Every year its the same from the manager about needing players.

Every year the transfer situation is the same.

Every year under Rodgers is the same style, same chatter..

People will say but every year we win the league, if thats the bar its a pretty * low one considering half the teams in this league would struggle in the league of Ireland

Now and again we preform in Europe but its not often. 20 odd years of it now..

What's the * point.. we here just to get it up the huns?

Last night and this summer has no excuse for me mate. I’ve always been one as frustrating as I’ve found us to back the board.

Because I’ve always thought the general strategy was good, wanted us less cautious but I got the strategy for the long run.

This summer, it’s beyond any sensible reason I can think of to excuse it

Celtic as a club are being left behind in the modern world of football and it ain't going to change as long as lawwell and his cronies are here, we don't seem to have a proper scouting system in place instead it seems they are relying on agents the club know to offer them cheap players, always hear that we spend money when champions league is secured when in reality apart from last season that doesn't seem to happen either, to me it genuinely seems like we don't like to do a lot of businesses at the start of the window is to save money on wages for a few months, they are an absolute embarsment, it's got to the point now i am seriously debating not watching the games in europe anymore because in reality what's the point.

Would take Dom McKay over this current lot because at least we seemed to be heading in the right direction, even if the man supposedly had no idea what he wa doing.

Id take that more than this current shower of * bleeding the club dry

We have already been left behind, long ago. There are numerous clubs who have progressed and modernised on a fraction of our turnover whereas we're still operating as we did 20 years ago.

For me the most obvious issue is at the point where money exchanges hands.

Legia criticised how slow we are this summer. Other clubs have called it out at times too. It's impossible to know inside details but it feels like we're far too addicted to getting a bargain and try to lowball clubs all the time.

Were the football equivalent of those * on Facebook market who message you saying "would you take £20 for it" on your £70 listing.

So what exactly was the Boards plan or strategy in regards transfers? We brought in KT so that is quite enough for now. We can spend a few million on Shin and Nygren and then what? Spend more when the CL money comes in but still spend less than what we sold Kuhn for? Is it some kind of fetish where they find 'value' and the transfer 'model' is more important than being prepared on the pitch.

Out of ideas, male, pale and stale. Old boys with no modern vision. 90's veterans just happy to be beating the Huns. An absolute disgrace they are.

Heared a interesting story on a podcast about the reason Dom McKay got sacked. He put in clauses in contracts where the player would take a part of the sell-on fee in order to attract better quality players who normally would go somewhere else. In that way they would gain money on performing as the fee when sold would naturally be higher. He did this with Josip Juranovic who had multiple offers from top clubs.

Think we’ve heard enough inside details to get the jist though, and enough experience of us to correlate between what we know that’s been said and what we’ve seen, and what you’ve said there is the something I’d not hesitate in saying is right. And it’s probably playing down how we operate m

again, we got an offer of £1.9m accepted for Nygren, because he had 6 months left on a contract. It was a robbery for him that and we knew it.

We just had to talk £500k off it, and delay by two weeks the signing. That’s such a microcosm of how we operate that

That fat loser coming back in as chairman and also hiring his son. Honestly what kinda shambolic company runs this way in 2025. Shameful stuff.

Here is the thing, most of us can overlook the transfers if there was money bring pumped into the youth system. Or if the stadium was undergoing an overhaul. We could possibly understand the need to wait for CL money before buying. But these cnuts are hoarding money, not spending cash reserves that could see us ge to the CL. Even worse they sell players and have no backup, it beggars belief.

Kyogo and Kuhn sold for the guts of £25 million. Neither replaced. You can argue we were really unlucky Jota got injured but we are about to sign Baliskswa. Why wasn't that done weeks ago?

Aye your correct mate as I said rodgers net trading profit since 2023 is £63m in the black. Their obsession with hoarding cash is unreal, Balikshwala should have been an easy deal so should Berum and Stralec if thats who they wanted.
