Don’t think he should be sacked. He’s had a shocker with this tie and the football he plays has got pretty dull again. Am angry about last night but also angry he didn’t demand signings prior to the tie and put pressure on the board to deliver them

I don’t care what anyone says, his attitude towards Inamura and Yamada is political. I’m not going to pretend I know the specifics but it’s very clearly something like the Shved situation.

I won’t even criticise anyone that supports his actions but it’s definitely what’s going on here. Both of those players are good enough to have done something against such a poor side.

He’s publicly made sure to call out the boards backing this summer, very carefully done so without him fighting with the board through a press conference. Which he did last time before he * off btw.

He done it amazing this time though. Just said if * have no ambition and like to settle not push forward he’s the wrong guy

Short of quite literally singing it from the rooftops what more could he have done? He still has to keep the rest of the squad happy and has still told anyone that will listen he wants signings. He even questioned if the club wants to progress and be better there can't be any other club that happens at

Spot on. First time around it felt like he could be trusted to steer us through big games. Now it's the opposite.

He done something like that after McGinn his first time. Just got full scale * you to the board.

    * look at the Shved stuff. He was a good player as well btw, was never going to matter a * that thouugh. He wouldn’t be one here.

He’s been a lot smarter this time with it. * he needs to face the * again. He’ll see out the contract but honestly, see if he * off for a Premiership job today? I’ll think aye fair play.

After McGinn * we all said the same and he was ultimate snake when he did go. Despite everycunt saying it.

Should publicly call out Lawwell and Nicholson for not getting him the players he wanted.

I think he feels he doesnt need to call the board out this time. It speaks for itself.

I also think blaming the board after going out to a team of kairats level would look a bit too much like trying to pass the buck. If we had gone out to a credible team it would be easier but nobody comes out of this one with much credibility. Its a collective failure for me.

He's possibly the best media trained manager we've had, and he said at every press conference exactly what he wanted. He even said he wasn't the manager for us if the club didn't look to move forward.
He needs no excuse to leave now, and that is scandalous from the board.
Every manager at this club should be desperate to stay.

Backing or not losing this tie would be a sackable offence at most big clubs. Luckily for him we are not a big club anymore.

Rodgers can have a lot of valid criticisms for last night. His starting lineup was wrong, he was too welded to us playing one style. In his first spell he was pragmatic, we played with 3 at the back, we played with 2 up top we played with wingers and a no 10. He was very good at adjusting his team and tactics, he brought guys like Armstrong, Christie, Rogic in from the cold and improved them. This time around it's been 4-3-3 with little rotation and a lot more stubborn.

He's still delivered the success though, we made a great breakthrough in Europe last season, we have 2 league titles and cups. We've played some brilliant football. He brought guys like Kuhn, Maeda, MOR and Scales on another level.

Overall he's done here and done what he came to do. The tie with Kairat was hugely disappointing but we've all been warning about the danger of our boards unwillingness to back the manager in the transfer market, we've not done it out of irrational fear or entitlement. We have been warning these dangers out of history, its the 7th time in 9 attempts where we have been papped out of the qualifying rounds and every single qualifying campaign we have gone into we have been SEVERELY underequipped for.

We didn't conceded in 210 minutes, Rodgers has been saying all summer long and actually from the last window in January that we needed to add goals in the squad. £77m in the bank and weekly requests, actually pleas in the press from the manager to add some quality attackers to the squad, pompously ignored by the arrogant * Tory * in our boardroom and last night was a culmination of that arrogance and that neglect of the football club from the men in suits making the decisions coming home to roost.

By all means we should be critical of Rodgers but it doesn't matter who we have as manager if they aren't allowed do the job in the way they see fit. No manager will get 100% of the decisions right but we have to be cognizant of the environment, not trusted, undermined and working with one hand tied behind his back. This board will destroy any manager who is ambitious for this club. The board have turned the atmosphere around the club toxic and don't forget that, we can only judge a manager when this board is gone and they are allowed to the job as they see it done - not working under an austerity package.

I am 100% convinced that if we had a quality wingers of a Jota/Kuhn variety available in just 1 of the ties against Kairat we'd have got over the line. We need 3 wingers in here now, we know we won't get them. We need a left back of a high standard in, we're getting a dud from Argentina. We will add another complete dud on loan and we will stumble to another league title. At the end of next season we will be weaker that we were when Rodgers took over, he will have delivered 3 titles, he will have done it by brining in about 40m of transfer profits with the wage bill remaining static in inflationary times and massive profits achieved every season. And the board will still be here.

Divide and conquer is what this board live on. As long as people are finding factors like Rodgers or some of the players they deem not fit for the jersey to let their frustrations and anger take aim on, it lets the board off the hook and lets them. So ask yourself is it Rodgers or a board who had him left with Yang and Forrest as his only two wingers who are to blame for this *?

Donovan looked okay last night but only their because of injuries. Makes you wonder have we another couple of youth better than Yang or Forrest. Problem is they'd only get a chance if there was no other option.

Not just a Rodgers problem but one that goes back multiple managers.

We had enough in the team to pump this lot.

I blame everyone at the club here. Boars, manager, and players.

Pathetic display from all and we need a lot more in the team purely for freshness. * has gone stale and we will struggle this season

    Ange - we never stop!!!!

    Rodgers - stop and think!!!

No wonder we are so turgid - the board can take most of the blame with the boring 3rd year routine of shutting up shop, but Rodgers needs to take some in the neck as well because his style of play is * boring as *.

I don't think we have a winger in our youth ranks do we? We played Summers during the pre season there and he's an attacking midfielder.

This sort of revisionism is utter nonsense. We were a joke in Europe under Ange, do you remember Bodo?

We have scored as many goals under Rodgers as we have Ange. We had plenty of turgid displays under Ange too, plenty of poor and stale performances, shat a league cup semi against the huns in ET. For my money we were a better team last year than at any point under Ange and this was after Rodgers had to sell close to 100m of talent to get there.

Just cannot shift the feeling he let it all come crumbling down on its * to prove a point.

The board need ousted along with the desmonds.

    But...Rodgers needs to go too.

That was the worst performance given the level of opposition I've seen from us and he just let it happen.

Ange in charge with the same squad would have blown that team out the water.
