I would consider recalling him. He is better than Tillo and Yang. Still not what we need though but neither are the above

Loan out the worst wingers instead of the less worse.

I think Palma is more likely to generate a fee, probably on higher wages too.

Sure I saw in the press he didn't want to come back, which probably means Rodgers has told him he's not in his plans. Pointless recalling him. Let him go and have his career elsewhere.

He doesn't suit us at all.

The fact his thread is being bumped tells its own story about how we are going about things.

To me he is by far and away the worst of the wide players we have on our books. I think we'll be stuck with him next season again trying to move him on. It's like watching David Turnbull playing as a winger. I've never seen a winger at Celtic so bad at being able to take on a full back as Palma.

So true. Palma is a good player just not suited to how Rodgers wants to play. Hopefully he does well enough this season on loan that we can get a decent fee and sell him outright.

Just because we are a joke in the market doesn't make him the answer. Two wrongs don't make a right.

The two wrongs not making a right is my thoughts on dismissing him being the wrong option.

He’s not the right answer, but he’s better a an option just now than what we have. I’d be astonished if Yang scores a couple in the CL as an example.

We’re wrong that we’ve not got a better option than him currently to use as a back up, and we’re wrong to get him to * without having a better option.

We have Maeda, Yang and Forrest at the moment as them. I imagine Nygren is now one out of necessity.

Feels a snidey wee point to bring up just now.

But does anycunt believe he wouldn’t have been useful over the last two legs?

2 goals in his only season in the CL for us.

    And why?

No way am I saying he’s the ultimate answer here, I think he’s a better answer than even if it’s to turn to after someone else than anything else we have

And I will never ever accept the opinion that he’s better than Yang

Why? Yang has done nothing here, nothing. Palma had about a 6 months run in the team with assists and goals.

Because being better than Yang isn’t my measure for the answer.

Tbh Jota fully fit, with Palma as an option I’d love. Right now Palma would be so far infront of anycunt else for first place for me it’d be laughable suggesting anything else.

If I’m being more honest the not the answer * from me there is more Brendan doesn’t consider him the correct answer, because he’s a good answer for me.

It’s just the reality of how far we have fallen, that folk are even suggesting him

We signed a winger with no pace then seemed shocked he had no pace. I've always said he is better than Yang which is barely praise as I think about 95% of this forum would be better than Yang

Its very telling the state we are in when Luis * Palma would be our super star atm. Which he would.

I never understand the pace bit. Aliaddiere and Niall Mcginn are comfortably quicker than Palma and Moi Elyounoussi. The latter are comfortably better at football
