You're * at it.

Yang showed his limitations today and there's a * lot of them. In and around the box he can scrap to get the ball in and you love to see that. But that requires getting that far up the pitch to begin with, and he cannot receive, carry nor pass the ball when under any kind of pressure. I don't think any of us really thought he'd be a CL level player to begin with, but Kairat aren't a CL level team and he was utterly put to shame in front of them.

 

Just get rid of him ffs.

 

He’s nowhere near good enough to be at Celtic, never mind starting our biggest game of the season. The mind genuinely boggles..

But I guess we have a track record of winning these ties with sub-standard squads so it was a risk worth taking.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, absolutely nothing this club does matters at all until Michael Nicholson and Peter Lawwell are permanently removed from Celtic in all capacities. I’d love him happily kicking about the squad 2 quality choices ahead of him. That’d be good.

But he’s not squad is he. If Maeda is CF like a lot demand then he’s first team, nailed on first 11 then.

 

He was the only guy that threatened enough to win the first leg when he came on last week.

He’d earned the depressing shot we knew he’d do when he would be first choice for it.

Most people wanted Maeda upfront though, look at the opinion before that. And he’s the only option LW if Maeda’s not there

Never plays decent whenever he starts, does sometimes have an impact fae the bench. To have to start him, he was 5th choice winger last season, is total regression.
