He was excellent in his loan spell.

Managed to bag a decent goal return last season.

Something this season is rotten to the core though, cause he is * honkin.

 

His goal scoring record was good until this season but he's always had that donkey touch. It's a shame because you can always coach a good footballer to be a good finisher but you can't take a good finisher and turn them into a footballer. He just doesn't have it in him

 

Yeah, he isn't exactly blessed with technical ability, but when he first came in he was like a battering ram fighting for everything and smashing shots off from all angles.

Now? Has a serious lack of effort. Runs like someone poured concrete into his socks pre-match, and couldn't even overpower a common housefly in a one on one battle.

He has zero motivation - and it shows in everything he does.

 

Get him punted. Hopeless.

I think some footballers aren’t cut out for certain levels of pressure or expectation. They can have talent but when that step up comes they can’t put it together, they regress and go into their shell.

Idah does have a bit of talent but he’s getting worse here and it’s all mentality. He will flourish in the Championship. Less pressure, less expectation, less demand. He can just score goals.

There’s a massive mentality issue there. You can see it in his body language in interviews never mind games. The guys just not built for it.

On loan, he was a major part to win the league, scored what should have been a winner late on at Ibrox to make it 3-2 87 minutes in, not his fault the Matondo goal after it. Scored the only goal in a derby Scottish Cup Final. Also was scoring winners, key winners for us, very important to win the league.

Last season? 3 CL goals for one, was key for another (lucky it was an OG I’ll concede the Young Boys goal), and as 2nd choice got 20 for the season.

Inconsistent all round play and infront of goal is very frustrating no doubt.

He has started this season beyond awful.

He came on tonight, barely played and had some moments and I think set up a chance for Hatate that should have been buried.

He wasn’t great or that but we were better for him on the pitch. As * as that still was.

Giving him the 1st penalty though? Him searching for confidence, unsure of himself. No matter how good he’s been from the spot so far, that’s a poor poor decision.

I was watching on Premier Sports, Irish co-commentator said exactly where he would put it. That’s poor. But him as the first in the shootout? Shocking from Rodgers.

He deserves criticism, 100% but abysmal full time here? Nah, that’s not a level opinion. I get the anger tonight though

Him getting caught on his heels for a potential tap in. I was * screaming at the telly. Anyone with a bit of common sense would have seen that their goalkeeper had no intentions of holding on to any ball that came near him. He was parrying them all away. He simply had to be more alert. So grim

 

I'll be annoyed basically until the time he leaves. Every time I see his name on the teamsheet I'll be annoyed. Even if he scores, I'll be annoyed, because it'll start folk off saying he has a future here.
