Has anyone ever had any dealings with him?

Given his role is the apparent direct link to Michael Nicholson, I'd be keen to hear any experiences.

We are dreadful at fan communication so is he the only option?

 

He’s absolutely * useless.

 

He’s actually meant to be quite good.

But more than likely, he’s another puppet and the board don’t take on what he says.

 

Given the last mention of him on here is 13 years ago then I suspect he may not play a pivotal role...

Have you had interactions? I am genuinely curious as there doesn't seem any other club-fan communication channel, which is absolutely wild given our size.

 

He's a lightning rod for the board with a hard enough job as it is.

Any comments on squad investment etc. direct them at the people in charge.

 

Fan engagement is zero..

That's not his role tho, he does a good job he needs help with what he does. He's sorted a couple things for me over the years.

 

It's not anger.

Surprised by your reaction, it's a genuine club designated individual who has a direct role reporting to one of the few people the anger is directed at.

Why wouldn't we want to know more about his remit and how he can help us communicate?

 

His job is a thankless one. Literally any * wee gripe or problem the average fan has, he has to be the human switchboard to direct them to solve it.

From ticket queries issues, bus parking, lost property, security plans etc.

Any time I've tweeted him I've had quick responses even at silly o'clock at night. I can assure you he'll be as pigsick as the rest of us tonight and the board will be very well aware of feeling without him chapping their door.

 

No wonder when classic Celtic they dont define any specifics of his role. 'Thoughts and views on any subject they wish'.

No, he definitely is not on them. But at most clubs would hopefully be an official channel to communicate to our CEO. Not us, though.

 

The one person at Celtic who shouldn’t be blamed for anything is JP

 

Again, he isn't.

But is he someone that can communicate on behalf of fans given the best people are coming up with is boycotting games and merchandise.

Or are we saying that isn't his role at all? Does anyone know his remit other than that pretty vague remit on the site.

I've never heard a bad word about him..

 

Seems that way which is positive.

Curious the scope of what he has, could and would take to Nicholson, and whether there's a record of it...like most professional organisations are supposed to keep.

Having just one guy on it seems mad especially if he's dealing primarily with administrative requests that a club should manage and communicate themselves.

 

Had a few interactions back and forth with him in the past and in his replies he came across as a very pleasant and genuine enough guy but appears his hands are tied and needs more help from those above him, he doesn't deserve the flack for the Boards arrogance.
