Shouldn’t be taking any set pieces at all.

His corners are usually the things he’s most consistent at but not tonight for some reason.

Hes got more bit and forward thinking than the rest of our current midfield though and needs to be starting the next few games.

He should be starting every game we play in Europe and every Glasgow derby.
Hatate and Nygren is not a strong enough combination for these types of games. Engels can cover the ground in these games and provide support to McGregor.

 

He does * all of note.

 

The thing is, because he could actually run a bit, it looked like an improvement on the shower of * midfield showing before him tonight. You had McGregor, Hatate and Nygren basically moving at a snail's pace all game. That and the fact that Kairat visibly tired.

He's garbage though, simple as that. £11m * down the drain.

 

Think we're gonna need to take the hit on him. He's painfully average all round.

Worth it to have one player that can hit a penalty though

 

Other than his deliveries I thought he was ok tonight, better than our other midfielders, that isn't saying much tbf.

 

His set pieces were laughable. He actually improved our midfield when he came on however.

 

I was so * frustrated man, well in general but a smaller frustration with him, usually his set pieces are great even playing *. Delivery not attempt on target wise.

But he made a difference when he came on, worked hard, showed for the ball, tracked back and I really liked the desire he showed coming on.

But every corner and free kick was the worst that he’s ever showed here.

His set pieces were pub league standard. He did try to get us forward in fairness to him when introduced
