Would not be adverse to 2-3 of the players' passports went missing and were left stuck over there. Horrendous.

I did say, tonight was going to be so, so tough, that last week was an utterly missed opportunity. That is where we lost it. Manager made no tactical changes at any stage in either leg.

In truth, since Celtic won the league at the end of April last season, there has been 2 1/2 decent performances...

• The 5-1 league game v Aberdeen at Pittodrie a week before the Cup Final. Basicallay entire 2nd string team played.
• The 4-1 LC game v Falkirk at CP... when it was a 50/50 of first choice & 2nd players played
• The 2nd half of the 3-0 v Livingston at the weekend

Two of those games were against teams that were in the Championship last season, the other was playing a little bit of rope-a-dope as they didn't care about the League game as the Cup Final was what they were all focused on.

Now, 3500miles home.. to play at Ipox, against a team that we have not defeated in almost an entire year.

Silver lining... get some effin players in and win the entire EL.

 

Got what we deserved from the board to the players to the manager. CL qualifiers do not come any easier yet we totally blew it. Not managing even a goal against that standard of opposition in 2 games plus extra time is damning. I'll bet you we didn't even practice penalties just in case. Almost guaranteed.

The board, the manager and the players should all hang their heads in shame.

I didn’t cut them any slack last week but bad performances can happen. Tonight was their opportunity to right the wrong and even without the signings we know we need, we should have had enough to get past Almaty.

I want to say I’m not surprised because how often do they let us down in these games but I am shocked at the fact we were even worse than we were last week.

As much as I despise the board and I know they are the root cause of this, Rodgers needs to shoulder a lot of the blame for this. Key players McGregor, Maeda, Hatate, CCV were absolutely rotten as well.

I never want to hear McGregor mentioned in the same sentence as Brown again. He’s got the heart of a mouse.

I’d gut that team and I’d be happy to see the manager go. We need a new man at the top to rebuild the club from top to bottom and make sure these horrible failures don’t happen again.
