No excuses for not scoring a single goal against a team ranked 300+ in Europe over 210mins. Him and his love child Idah can * off, McGregor isn’t a captain anymore either.

 

Regardless of the lack of board support, and that is criminal, his career wont survive this unless he gets to a Europa Final.

Although, perhaps that is where we should be.

He didn't have options.. but still should have had enough to get through this tie.

 

He can * off. What the * has he done for the team in the last 9 months. We've been a * shadow of a team since the Bayern game that I'm * sick of * talking about. We still * lost that.

 

Its absolutley shameful and embarrassing not to score a goal against a team like that.

Ange ball end to end football would have took 5 off them easy.

 

His squad is poor, but any decent manager should have overcame Kairat with those players. Slow turgid football against every team we play

Watching that game what * influence did he put on it. * all. The tactics were clearly *, asking our striker to drop deep constantly when him main thing is being * rapid.

I’d get him out now - this season will be the most boring and turgid football we have ever seen.

 

I can't help but feel the anger is so misplaced tonight how much clearer can he make it he needed reinforcements we never gave him it. We've got 2 strikers in the door as 'club signings' and signed Kenny up to a 4 year deal and across both legs we opted for a carthorse and a winger up front. Yang doesn't get in that Kairat team, Forrest playing every game in 2025 is a * riddy.

He showed us last year what he can do if backed with a double and genuine progress in the CL regardless of what anyone thinks of the signings.

This team aren't any better than what we face every week in the SPL, Rodgers doesn't get a free pass here because the board are *, the negative possesion at all cost tactics and arrogance/stubborness to change things when they're clearly not working over two legs is 100% on him. Was the same with the hun games last season, he had no plan b.

 

Zero plan B, everything about this club needs changed!

Regardless of tonight. I used to worry about Martin O’Neill leaving or Ange leaving. Never worried about Brendan this time round.

 

This is really lining up to be a terrible season. Rodgers sounds done but he cant leave. Board wont sack him. We will plod along.

Rodgers deserves all the criticism he gets after that one. Probably 3 big chances over 2 1/2 hours against a team like that without a single goal. Just unacceptable
