After last week I thought we were out , but have been playing a bit better and surely can not be as bad again ? Think if we score 1st they might fold , also they seem to be missing a few players as well . 3-1 to the bhoys .

 

If we go out tonight with Forest and Idah, i fear the worst unfortunately. I think we were bad in the home tie, but the midfield and defence had a bad game but not to the extreme. It was the front 3 that was absolutely pathetic and that need to change dramatically tonight in order to win.

We all knew prior to the game that the front 3 was not good enough, so should the club.

The key is that the front 3 need to go from not clicking at all, to a complete click.

 

Forrest needs saved for tired legs late on. Thats the only time he makes a noticeable difference.

Surely we'll not play as badly again, and with their injuries and suspensions we have to take advantage

 

Should be starting McCowan for that reason I think, Nygren out wide.

They were fairly athletic through the middle and McCowan would struggle with that, especially in the conditions as it's roasting and a bobbly pitch..

Fair point, though at least he has some pace to get about compared to the other 3 and means we need to start Forrest or Yang out wide.

No real easy options unfortunately, Yang and Forrest both better off the bench as well

Getting Dynamo Zagreb vibes about this one. Not the fact their stadium is a pit similar to Zagreb's. Worry for me is the altitude as Almaty is high up in the mountains. Our players will need to show their fitness levels tonight.

Some of the Munros in Scotland are over 3/4000 ft.
We are used to high altitude.

Genuinely though, them having key players out doesn't make a * of difference. If anything it just makes it more embarrassing if we get knocked out by them.
