I felt the same about our new guy simpson pusey. This might be a completely different scenario though as his value would most likely decrease after the loan spell due to his contract, in which case we'd be in a better position to get him on a bargain fee if hes worth it.
I reckon the opportunity players have to impress on loan here can work in our favour and also against. Take Idah for example, if we had negotiated a mandatory fee then we wouldn't have paid so much, Norwich in that case had the upper hand doing that due to the pressure to sign him. Then there is CCV and Jota on the other hand who we paid less for.
Redundant moves though, thats what I've come to expect really. Not world class by any stretch.

Its a smart bit of business, loan a backup for KT, develop our Japanese player for a year. My only qualm is: why not a month sooner???

 

The fact he can also cover right back means this makes a little more sense.

No option suggests we see Inamura as the option there going forward, which is good. I just hope Inamura still sees decent game time this year, or gets a loan to a good level.
