Maybe I’m giving the board too much credit, but I just can’t see Maloney getting the job when he’s shown exactly zero so far in his management career to suggest he’s ready for the role.

I mean, Kennedy has worked under Rodgers twice, Lennon and Ange and he’s stayed here when he’s had opportunities to go. I think if anybody in-house would be getting it, it’d be him.

 

Manager fer next season... I'm for this guy.

Guess Knutsen is out of our range now that he looks very likely to get CL football with Bodø. He would have been a good solution if he got a similar deal to the one with Bodø where it's said he gets a share of the transfer profits. Would hopefully take away the boards saying in transfers, ours all dream.

But aye, chances the board would accept this or him coming is minimal.

I'd take Ange back in a heartbeat and very much hope he'll be the first person the board pick up the phone to. Knowing our shitebag money grabbing austerity board though it'll be the dream team of Kennedy, Brown and Maloney. Maybe try and find a role for McManus in there for good measure.

 

I like Dyche too. Wouldn't be against him.

 

Ange won't come back after having to deal with this board. They done the same to him as they're doing to BR just now.

We can’t look beyond this season and the discussion has to be the ones above Rodgers. This * just is just misdirection, which the board would enjoy.

 

No decent manager will come into this club now knowing of the Boards shenanigans....Will Be something like Broony and Maloney

Outside chance Rodgers could now go with the Forest job.

I don't foresee it particularly, I'd put it in the 10% category but in the off chance he goes it will leave us in a predicament. Jose and Ange seem to be ahead of him in the bookies anyway.

I'm throwing this out there not as a recommendation or anything but I something I could very well see DD doing in the case of Rodgers leaving before the end of the season. Damien Duff coming in as interim manager until the end of the season. Duff was on the coaching ticket under Lennon, he was likely brought to the club by Desmond. Since leaving the Celtic coaching set up he has managed Shelbourne in Ireland and brought them to their first title in 20 odd years last season so he has done pretty well in that time. We know Desmond has a penchant for parachuting big name Irish footballers in to Celtic so in these circumstances I could see it as something he might do.

Personally I would think it would be a disaster, I think Duff seems to have taken the Mourinho type personality since going into management, likes to be controversial and centre of attention which I think is something you don't want in Glasgow. He stormed out on Shels this season when things weren't going well. But don't be surprised if this happens if Rodgers goes prematurely.

 

Ay this moment in time the way the board are doubling down, its Maloney and an Itch DD has is Roy Keane.

There's zero progression and out the box thinking in our custodians.
