    There's plenty of benefit to getting him signed and clocked on before the team are back. Get his accommodation sorted out, show him around the training ground, let him get to meet a few people round the club, even just get some shopping in. All these wee things would help him settle in a little before his first training session so he can hopefully hit the ground running.

    4-5 days to get himself sorted in his digs/shopping/see the training as you say, means he's ready to go on the first day back for the squad and can have a better chance to impact Sunday.

    The lack of a proper compilation makes him really hard to figure out but few things I've observed.

    He has a good burst of pace over the first 10 yards.
    Seems to be more the the type of player who likes to step inside and play 1-2s and run in behind, similar to Kuhn.
    Seems versatile across the front but left wing would seem his best position.

    His goals/assists output is decent. Just based on his league stats over the past 5 seasons (and 4 appearances this term).

    150 appearances (117 starts, 33 as sub)
    10,529 minutes
    29 goals (2 penalties)
    11 assists
    G/A every 263 mins.

    The fact he will now play in the dominant team in a weaker league you'd expect that output to increase for us.
