Due in the UK this week? Surely he can be in the UK today, he can have a medical today and he can sign his deal tomorrow * morning. Get him a couple of training sessions before the weekend.

 

Squad likely won't be training together until Friday but it badly needs to be completed with the utmost ugrency. Sunday gives us an opportunity to land a huge blow in the title race. There's a long way to go in the season but a 9 point lead at this point would really turn the screw.

We are so slow to conclude these deals. Our board seem to take the approach of we either get them or we don't and show no urgency in it. It's clear we leave all the aspects of the deal to a handful of people and are not properly resourced when it comes to concluding deals.

It looks like they’re going to tie up Michel Ange-Balikwisha on a four-year deal.

 

As mental as it sounds, I forgot the team were travelling 7000 miles for a European game tomorow. Will likely not be back until Thursday morning, so aye. Friday training would be his first anyway.

 

Aye no rush , it’s not like we’re short of players !

 

I think he's going to be a very good signing and I think he'll be hitting 20 G/A across the season for us.

 

So clear they just caved to the backlash they got after Tuesdays game to try and get this done now. Clearly weren’t in any rush beforehand. Probably won’t even want to go through with this if we go out this week but they’ll need to now and will sacrifice another target for a cheaper option later in the window. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that though and we get the job done tomorrow.

I'd accept the fact the squad is awarlt for 3-4 days, but at the same time, he's unlikely to be training or playing with his current team either now. I'd rather sign him today and get gin on a plan out to Kazakhstan and at least meet up with the squad/take part in light training with them.

Or, likely better, get him in to Glasgow today/tomorrow and working with our coaches - which even I know sounds stupid as all 3 of them will be in Kazakhstan as well.

Massive, needless pressure on him. Completely needless.

His price tag doesnt matter at all. This has been so drawn out that expectations will be high, and on a very short fuse.

Our fans have already had enough if Idah, and he looked every part a good signing while on loan. Engels is constantly getting (undeserved) stick.
