Canny make my mind up on who starts up front. Leaning towards Daizen through the middle with Yang and Nygren out wide, but watching yesterday's highlights again and think Shin really has something so wouldn't be against him up top with Daizen out left.

Tough one for me.

 

I'd start diazen left. Once tired, yang as he's good against tired legs and diazen switching up top. I'd save forrest for later on aswel as when legs are tired he can hurt them. He wont last long due to heat, so id say 70 mins in.

 

Agreed about Forrest. He's being hung out to dry due to lack of options, it's no fair on him. Definitely needs to be used as impact sub.

Impossible to predict what Rodgers will do though, he's a * headcase at times with selection

 

Even though it's so early in the season this game will be our most important one due to the financial implications it will have on the club. If we do win it will also give the fans a boost knowing we will have CL football right up to Christmas at least. Unfortunately it could all go * up due to the incompetent arseholes who run our club who, once again, haven't failed to give the manager the tools to improve our team.

 

Yamada has to start for me.

He will run until his heart explodes, his movement and endeavor make Idah look like a quadrapeligic, and he appears to know where the net is. Kenny on at the 60-70 mark.

More importantly, Maeda needs to turn up. Im not in the "hes downing tools" club, i honestly think he's just perhaps a bit * at being considered our main striker this season.

We also need that * tube Scales to keep his head together. Assuming he will get the nod of course.

 

The travel, the heat and our record there have me worried for it. We definitely have a chance though as we’re a better side, despite that pathetic performance midweek.

I think this gives us good legs to start but still with options on the bench. Yang, Forrest, McCowan always seem to look better as subs. Not sure who slots in for Tierney. I suppose it'll be Murray with Scales moving left. Might be better for Kenny to come on late with his running. I think we'll struggle with stamina.

 

The right wing is so important as they also need to cover Ralston and support him throughout.

I think this might be the team, the first goal is massive

 

Nygrens' two goals yesterday and the back keeper being in points to us needing to have plenty of shots.

Even if they don't go in Nygren should be there to pounce on and rebouds or parries by keeper

 

Our Japanese players should be used to this kind of travel, Yang too.

So maybe that's something to consider.

Our front 3 options are shameful tho. Whatever 3 he starts.

 

This will likely be the team and probably best options we’ve got, best impact players on the bench for sure.
