I'm not sure if Auston Trusty will make it. Adam Idah, we'll wait and see. But hopefully he'll be available for the squad.

I value all the players that are here now. There's a lot made of what we don't have. We're all clear on that, I think we can all see that we need to strengthen that top end of the pitch. There's no denying that. But I have to really value the players that are here. They've worked so hard over pre-season. We've started the season domestically very well.

We've had one half that strangely was a bit passive. Sometimes that happens over two legs. You don't really know the team and then you start slow and a bit sluggish and then you're not quite at your level. But apart from that, apart from that first half, these players, there's a lot of noise, but these players I really value, the ones that are here, and they've performed domestically like you see, three wins, not conceding hardly anything, and in some of those games we've scored four, we've scored three, and other games we've had to win by the odd goal. They're working very hard. We know what we need to do. And as I said, we'll take this squad to Tuesday and get the job done.

They're stuffy and set up to frustrate us. McCowan has the ability from score from distance. Nygren sensational from the right side today so I'd keep him going there. Yang has done enough to deserve a start for me, especially given Maeda will likely start through the middle.

 

Its not my wish for us to lose any game but its just a bridge too far. I have been consistent since the draw that almaty would knock us out over 2 legs.

Not sure if it was confirmed how long he was out for, or if Rodgers just confirmed he was out for today but didn’t put a timescale on it.

I geniunly think we'll do it. Will it be a 4-0 cake walk? Probably not but I'll still hope for it.

I do think if we score early then it'll open the floodgates. It'll be more nervy the later it gets without a goal. You'll see a huge difference in the way we attack now we know there obviously no *. A proper rip roaring effort. Looking forward to it.

Honestly a shameful starting 11 for a game of this magnitude but hopefully it’ll be enough.

We will need the whole squad to have a good night. The likes of Forrest, Engels, Kenny etc off the bench will play a key role here as well.

We need to be as direct as possible here. Stop the sideways passing and get the ball forward quickly.

 

We need them to attack us and give us space.

If they sit in again we will struggle like we did last week.
