I'm tempted to go with Yamada or Kenny up top because of their pace and movement..

    Schmeichel

    Ralston
    Carter-Vickers
    Scales
    Tierney

    McGregor
    Hatate
    Engels

    Nygren
    Yamada or Kenny
    Maeda

If Trusty had been or Simpson-Pusey had been given game time, I would have been tempted to go with a back 3.. Murray looking dead on his feet too.

None of Bernardo, Engels or McCowan staking a claim to start either..

So, will I'd go..for the biggest game of the season..

    Schmeichel
    Ralston CCV Scales KT
    McGregor
    Forrest Nygren Hatate Yang
    Maeda

Such a massive game, it’s one of the biggest in years. Just * win Celtic, don’t care if we play *, just win.

This for me and Yamada over Kenny.

Think on the break we could get them. They are quite slow. Can't imagine them being AS defensive.

Actually would be tempted to start Bernardo, thought he was good today, can't go Forrest on the right again after his performance midweek.

    Schmeichel
    Ralston CCV Scales Tierney
    Bernardo
    McGregor Hatate
    Nygren Maeda Yang
Kenny, Engels, Yamada, Forrest and Murray off the bench.

They're missing Satpaev for this, who is comfortably their best player, and I'd be shocked if their GK is fit for this.

They were beyond knackered after 30 minutes midweek, and I don't think we'll play anywhere near as bad. At the same time, we need to be on it early on, if they get an early goal it'll be a long game for us. They wont be as defensive as they were midweek.

If we can get to half time 0-0 or better, I think we'll win and win comfortably.

Going 2-0 us, Nygren and Maeda.

Hopefully they do the business on Tuesday night, without quality replacements coming in, then we could get a few skelpings in the group stages.

I watched that 37 year off carthorse at the back for them get booked within 5 minutes..

Yamada or Kennys pressing, willingness to run about and pace would deffo unsettle them, along with Maeda out wide..

Just the fact that Yang came on and was unpredictable did as well..

Think if we start with that lineup above. Bit more energy in the middle with Engels and for set pieces, Nygren coming inside with pace to pick out and confident....we'll get chances. They'll have a young keeper who we need to test..

Then gives us options off the bench in say Kenny, Forrest, Yang, McCowan etc..

    I really fancy us..

A dirty 0-1 for us! Battle it out. If there is one positive so far this season, we are hardly conceding goals! 1 in 5 games, and that one when we were already 4:0 up.

Hugely important game though! Pressure is right up there.

The altitude and heat alone would be an issue for high-pressing teams. We also have some jet-lag incoming. I'm leaning towards McCowan in the midfield. He likes to have a pop, and that substitute keeper of Kairat needs to be tested.

Kenny to start. His work rate alone has him ahead of Idah.

I'd be for starting Yamada to get right in amongst them, and then when they tire, bring Kenny on later.

Is Idah not out injured regardless?
