If the board had done their job properly mate we'd have been strong enough to cope with Wednesday night and today without cancelling the fixture. We're still playing scales at CB when he was played there for a stop gap 2 years ago.

It took us 5 years to replace Tierney, with Tierney. And now we need cover for him.

Kyogo away since January, hasn't been replaced.

Kuhn wanted away since January, sold at the start of summer and hasn't been replaced.

Jota been injured since end of last season, no replacement.

Having to play the likes of Idah, Yang, 33yro Forrest, Scales and Ralston is a disgrace.

Scales has been motm in plenty of European games. I dont get his hate but that's different folks opinions. If you want someone to be pirlo on the ball then swap him out with an actual midfielder.

The rest is justified. Atleast today its forces his hand in playing big yamada. He could well be kyogo 2. Im sure we'll no by 60 mins today if he's any good.

 

It's not a hate towards Scales mate, from my perspective anyway, he has done well and in many ways made CB his own, but it still doesn't mean we shouldn't be aiming higher.

Imagine we are absolutely injury ridden to the point Sinisalo had to come on to play Midfield for 20 mins, does quite well, I could literally see the board saying "that's a Midfielder less we have to buy as our keeper can play there"
