Every game he’s come on and had an impressive attitude, and looking like he’s worked on his weak points from last season.

All round stuff not just defending. He’s moving the ball quicker than he was, he’s not getting wound up and complaining about strikers to the ref when they’re doing it, he’s been strong and brushing them off easily.

He’ll start the play off. I like Scales but think he’s starting with BR thinking they’re equal which I agree with but Scales playing well, then having to move to cover LB and looking uncomfortable is BR driving a point home about the squad. He’s done it before, mind him bringing Palma off who was the only player doing anything going forward for weeks and in that game for Bernabei? MJ up front his last stint, saying Eddy only had 60 mins in his legs. Played him for 30 mins but said he had no other striker to play…

BR plays games like that. Hope it works this time. Don’t think it has any other time

Tail end of last season, start of this season - yes.

    Sign of improvement v Falkirk.
He wants to play CF and won't sign until he is, meanwhile isn't near what he was middle of last season.

We should be aiming for a CF better than Kyogo, a right winger as good as peak Kuhn and if Jota gets back to full sharpness he'll be perfect.
We should be aiming to be better all across front line (not my words, the managers) but we are actually declining.

Not sure about refusing to sign until he's a striker but but I never thought he was a good fit for us as a winger, at least not domestically anyway.

Lacks the technical ability to create the way we need wingers to. He's far better as a striker. No suprise his 1st goal of the season came from him drifting inside into strikers position.

With Auston Trusty, is that one where rest is the only real remedy, plantar fascia?

"Normally, it can be a period of time that one. I've had a few players who have had that before and sometimes it can be an operation.

"It can be a really sore one when you when you plant the foot and so we normally have to wait and see on those ones. But that's my experience of players having them before."

Had it before myself, just by wearing flat gutties (Sambas) to work. The pain was * unbearable.

    Padded insoles for this bear.
