    Whole point of a back 3 would be to avoid playing Ralston, imagine Ralston as a * wing back jesus christ man :56:

    He plays that position for Scotland and does ok.

    Going to a back 3 and overloading the midfield would help cut off where they seemed to be dangerous. They had so much space in the middle of the park between McGregor and Hatate/Nygren.

    Another position that's needs filled but won't.

    A real shame because him on the right and Tierney on the left is terrific fullbacks.

    Also not ideal when Tierney can't play more than 70mins.

    No he doesn’t. He looked lost playing RWB for Scotland. It’s only now that Clarke reverted back to a back four that Ralston looks ok.

    He does ok? You mean the same Scotland that had zero wide threat when playing that system and got torn apart?

    The midfield was disjointed because McGregor can’t play that positon, Nygren is new to the system and Hatate was poor.

    If we are having to play a 352 because of a team from Kazakhstan may as well bin the * full squad now.

    I'd assume its a full tear if the stretcher was required. A couple weeks one they normally just walk off.

    Could be months.

    Johnston reaction as well said it all he knew it was bad when it happened. It is a massive blow period but especially considering what a great start to the season he had made. I will be shocked if Johnston is not out at least a couple of months now.

    He looked horrendous in that Scotland game in the summer, more awkward on the ball than Ralston, no pace and had the pish ripped out him defensively.

    No danger should we be near him.
