He isn't scared to drive forward with the ball and was working hard for us, no one was moving Infront of him and it's hard for one player to make up for the rest. We have a lack of players willing to skip past a player with the ball and would rather pass it backwards. He'll have to be at his absolute best next week for us to get through.

You know what drives me insane which Yang actually never ever does. Forrest does it, and so does Maeda… when the pall is passed out wide to them their first touches are an uncontrolled touch backwards or inwards towards the midfield. Never ever allow the ball to come across their body. Yang almost every time lets the ball cross his body so he can drive forward or try to make the defender think.

technically he actually is a better player with the ball at his feet than Maeda is. We need to stop shifting him out wide. We don’t have a striker. Yang out wide Maeda through the middle. Idah/kenny/yamada subbed on

He's direct and drags players out of position, far too often last night Diazen and Forrest received the ball and instead of hitting the byline or making a burst for the box played it back or cut inside to a packed passive midfield

Yang can't be relied on but he's the only fit player in our squad who is actually capable of taking a defender on and beating them.

Maeda doesn't trust himself, he has no confidence in his technical ability. He doesn't cut in and get shots off, he doesn't throw early crosses in, he doesn't face a defender up and take him on. He either runs in behind or knocks the ball down the byline - that's it. He's so one dimensional as a winger, does great work the other way but that's it. When it's a low block where we are the team that has to break them down - he is of little use.

Forrest is just an impact player for 10 or 15 minutes these days.

Maeda needs to play through the middle and we need 3 new wingers but this window is a write off. We are * until January. We might make the CL but we'll get embarrassed in it.

Until we get the forward situation sorted he should be starting on the left with Maeda through the middle.

Come September though we shouldn't be relying on him as anything other than back up.

He's not Celtic level - but I'll say this, he actually brings something that our current wing options do not. He will run with the ball, drive forward to the byline and cross, or cut inside and dribble into the box.

Our other options are far too comfortable just recycling possession - receiving the ball out wide, then passing it back into the congested center of the park.

Probably the only bright spark out of the whole lot of them. Direct, creative and dangerous. Even showing signs of intelligence with a lovely through ball over on the right.

Very handy player to have around.

Seems to do well on the left wing, but very little on the right. He is what he is, a decent impact left sided sub

Brought an injection of energy and pace into a really pedestrian and slow performance
