Again, the stats contradict that false narrative. It was his centre back partner who nearly lost us the game last night because he couldn't trap a ball a toddler would have.

Shut the * up mate you’re boring now.

You completely ignored Scales almost costing us a goal at Aberdeen and now you’re suddenly picking up on a CCV mistake.

Difference is Carter-Vickers doesn’t it once every 6 months, Scales has it in his locker anytime. He was a headless chicken last night, pressing away up the field chasing shadows while there’s gaping holes behind him.

He’s not good enough for that level and no amount of stats will change that.

Go watch a game of football and stop obsessing over stats.

    Stats dont tell you everything.

Anyone watching Scales doesn't need stats to see he's not good enough.

Greg Taylor, the master of the sideways and backwards passes was another statations wet dream despite being honking.

Since you've joined this forum you've don't nothing but talk * but even by your standards arguing that CCV is the issue and Scales isn't is * idiotic

He also had a throwing in the St Mirren game which he threw straight at an oppenent which they nearly went up the other end and scored from.
Squad option he's fine but we are a team where the CB's have a lot of the ball so unfortunately they have to be like a prime Pirlo. Scales just isn't it. He's dependable definsively that's not the issue for me. It's his distribution or lack of.

Agreed and so was our back line in general not perfect but they certainly were not the problem on the night. As bad as we were Kariat got zero shots on goal and rarely threatened over the 90 minutes. The vast majority of our issues were as has been talked about since the very start of the summer in the attacking areas.

Yeah mate, actually think our defensive options are the best we've had in a long time, barring competition at full back. Centre half we are looking very healthy.

I dont think our defence was the problem last night, almost anytime they did attack us it was through a mistake in midfield or attack.

CCV did nearly make a mistake with the ball in the middle of the park, but that was it.

As for Scales, he was fine, but that header at the end when we're chasing a goal is just pure laziness.

No question IMHO last night our backline was not the issue and nor is it in general in terms of the overall squad. Are there areas to look and try to improve sure but overall our backline is solid.

Done well last night but if he had kept that header down, would have scored, was a great chance.

I watch Celtic week in week out. What you are saying is just complete and utter nonsense and the statistics show that. They contradict everything you say, they are independent and objective and they expose bluffers like you. All the stats point to Scales being our most progressive centre half on the ball.

More avoidance when you’ve been called out and you look silly. It happens every interaction.

You told me to shut up. I told you to go boil your head. You are incapable of debating any point so we are now just at a point when you are stalking me around the forum spamming up threads with insults when I am actually trying to stay on topic and discuss things in a civil manner.

If you disagree with what I say try and articulate it and if that's beyond you try and control your wee temper and walk away.

Nobody says “go boil your head”. You sound like a Limmy character.

I’ve debated you on Scales before and you went quiet. You also couldn’t respond to the points I made there either.

You don’t debate either btw. You just repeat points and depend on stats that tell half a story. You go on tangents. Debate things people aren’t debating like “Scales is the most progressive CB with the ball”. Not once has that been contended but you keep pushing it.

Scales can be the most progressive, while not being good enough and being poor progressing the ball. You understand that?

You've not debated me. You have told me to shut up and ignored the stats. Since you got your * handed to you on that one you have followed me around from thread to thread and hurled abuse at me with no attempt to debate. You seem to have taken a dressing down very personally. If I'm a troll as you say then why are you engaging with me? Do you not have the self control to just ignore me. You can continue spamming thread after thread with your insults if you choose but I'm asking you if you've nothing of substance to say then maybe stop replying to my posts?

I’m literally asking you to go back and address the point I made to you after the Aberdeen game and then today.

You ignored it. You were caught out lying and you refused to address it.

You claiming a “dressing down” doesn’t mean anything btw, put the ego to the side for a second. You’re making a * of it. You can keep ignoring what I’m saying and derailing it because words hurt you, it won’t make you right about Scales.

    He. Is. Not. Good. Enough.

You didn't engage in any sort of constructive debate at all. You started hurling abuse as you can't stand that somebody is actually able to articulate your position when all you do is hurl abuse and tell them to shut up. You have said multiple times now I'm a troll yer you keep stalking me around this forum and won't discuss any of the actual issues.

If you have nothing to say on topic then stop replying to me. Saying I'm talking nonsense and telling me to shut up is not a mature way to discuss a topic. People are allowed disagree with you and when they substantiate their viewpoints that doesn't mean they are talking nonsense or that they are a troll, it actually means they might have a point.

Every post you have responded to me is full of opinion and empty of substance and when it's challenged you respond with abuse. This will be my last post to you. I engage in good faith, you're little more than a deeply insecure and shallow slabberer. Grow up and stop spamming this forum with your petty grudge.
