    * last night like nearly every other player. Have noticed recently too he’s shying away from playing penetrative passes or riskier ones. Leaving it to scales…

wonder if this is a Rodgers doing? Or just the centre half pairing deciding at each moment?

Every time he passed the ball to Ralston last night it was behind him forcing Ralston to recieve the ball facing Kasper and gave him no option but to give him it back. His distribution is honking. I love him as a defender but he's always relied on his CB partner to be the ball player which is why we have always favoured going down the left. It's also why Starfelt, Trusty and Scales make more mistakes when passing as they are ultimately the ones passing forwards.

    Why can't you?

A mistake is a mistake, you are denigrating Scales but you can't even point out examples. There's nothing raitonal to your argument. I think CCV is a decent defender but he makes plenty of mistakes and he's not that far above Scales. If CCV was as highly regarded as you feel he is, Celtic would have sold him by now because we don't turn down decent money for any footballer.

Hold on. Carter-Vickers isn't much better than Scales? Is that what you're actually saying. If so just don't reply mate.

I'm asking you to list specific examples Scales has made, you can't answer it, you said you can't remember them.

I can't recall Scales passing the ball into an unguarded net under little pressure. I can't recall Scales allowing a guy in on goal when to trap a slowly rolling ball under his foot under no pressure. I can't recall Scales getting caught dwelling on the ball in the middle of the pitch and costing us a goal. I can recall CCV doing all those in European games.

It's the complete double standards you operate between different players which I find bizarre and when you are questioned on Scales you can't even reference incidents that support your position. You are pretty much confirming you have no basis for your position. It's put up or shut up when it comes to it and you can't put up so you are shutting up.

Name me Scales 5 biggest mistakes?

Absolute state of that - there's the Chat GPT out again.

I canny list 5 mistakes from many Celtic players. It doesn't mean they've never made them. I mind off the top of my head him getting done by Dessers in the derby at Ibrox last season, turning like * milk. I mind him getting done for Aberdeen's first goal in the 2-2 draw at Parkhead too.

He's * mate. Just accept it. To actually say Carter-Vickers isn't much better....just canny with you pal

That's just an empty post. What exactly is ChatGPT from my post? I've given you three specific examples of CCV costing us in Europe. The fact that I base my positions on things I can substantiate makes my position credible where as the fact you can't back up anything makes you sound like a halfwit who is in over their head and is scrambling to deflect from the fact you don't know what you're on about.

He got turned by Dessers at Ibrox last season. That's one. What are his 4 other big mistakes you can recall him making and we can compare with CCV?

Clutching on to the CCV mistake last night, when it had zero impact on the game, is * desperate. He’s been colossal for us.

Getting done for pace by * Sokler and being caught out with a simple through ball in the 2-2 draw against Aberdeen.

I'm no digging about trying to find 3 examples to amuse you. They'll exist. I certainly can't remember 5 mistakes CCV has made either - but they too will exist.

The fact is Carter-Vickers is a better, more reliable centre-back than Liam Scales.

I know you love a stat. But use your eyes sometimes too mate - will help massively.

This. It gave a striker a chance to shoot from about 60 yards out ffs

He got caught under two similar crosses in the semi-final game against Aberdeen at Hampden and completely lost his man.

And the shot was off target, and Schmeichel had it covered. Anything else is hypothetical straw clutching.

I agree in general, but do you think he had it covered? I'm not so sure tbh

Big man has been phenomenal for us over the piece, but bad mistakes have been creeping in the past year or so. Not to the stage I want him replaced or anything, but he is definitely prone to a * up these days.

The one last night was a shocker.

It was a lapse in concentration which led to a shot from 60-70 yards.

    Let's settle.

I thought so but I haven’t watched it back. Doesn’t matter though.
