I agree but just like the Aberdeen game, when we turn to the bench to try and change the game there is * all there. That lies squarely with the board and our transfer policy. Self sabotage.

Time wasting was off the charts …. Which kind of gives me hope for the next leg if they were time wasting horrifically from the start of the second half it show a lack of beleif in their players that they can go toe to toe with us

Or them being at home will come out thr traps and pressure us which they did several times. We should have lost last night. They had better chances

Think they had to be registered by 8pm on Tuesday. Although not entirely sure.

cant even begrudge the draw they showed the exact level of determination and aggression needed for champions league football , every ball we played they had someone there fighting like * for it ,* knows why engels wasnt on for a bit of dig or why idah was taken off for that useless midget yang and surprise passing the ball backwards and sideways doesnt win games

Because idah was more useless than yang. Yang atleast fashioned a few half chances for us. Idah just prances about being *.

yang fashioned the square root of * all ,all im saying is idah would be built better for the physical nature of that game ,as we seen when everyone else was getting pushed off the ball

Idah could have come off for a traffic cone and it wouldn’t have looked any different.

Everything that could have been wrong about that performance last night was.

It’s clear to see there is a need for a refresh in our team and some quality added but that is being ignored.

The team started the game flat, no forward momentum and all over an opponent who haven’t faced that sort of challenge before just slow, one paced and half hearted pressing.

When starting the game we should have been after them right from the off. However I think this comes back to the first point there is a real lack of hunger amongst this group and they mainly all looked like playing within themselves.

On the staleness point we have become easy to scout as we are still playing the exact same way near enough in terms of attacking patterns etc. Tierney staying wide is the only exception to that but it’s the same stuff we are trying so any team worth their salt that scout us know what’s coming.

The lack of pace in the team is scarily bad, I actually think that’s why Yang got a little joy when he first came on as he actually tried to run at his man. Forrest is done at that sort of level, he should have burst the net with the chance Yang presented him where if his effort hadn’t taken a deflection it was like a pass back.

Our midfield is another area despite all the options we have there are no legs or strength in there. Hatate and Nygren seemed to spend half the game getting in each others way and giving the ball away cheaply.

Scales can’t be the best centre back we can get in terms of ball progression. You can actually see the cogs turning when he has the ball at his feet.

That forward line was pathetic Idah, Maeda (head looks gone) and a 34 year old Forrest who hasn’t started a meaningful European tie since probably Alkmaar under Ange. I know he played out of necessity against Lazio two years ago but that was because our two first choice players were suspended and we were basically out anyway. This is the worst we have been in terms of forwards probably since Mowberry, even Delia had better options.

Kairat done a livingston 100% last night. Tried attacking first 10 mins then sat in deep as *. Lack of quality to break that down on our side worked right into their hands their manager was a youth team coach until 2 year ago ffs.

On of the better chances was a freak brain fart from ccv

The other one was offside and have to say the balance on left hand side between tierney and maeda and scales caused that

Other than that I felt comfortable

We had a lion share of the possession one of the biggest factors was it was wrong team selected first half nygren is not the answer corners not good enough he hampered Hatate movement kept getting in his way
Tierney can not play alongside maeda
We all seen the difference when things got swapped about second half

If we go out to me it’s worse than Cluj, Ferencvaros, Malmo, it is more like Maribor when we had already been battered by Legia and handed a second chance.

Really don’t see where we score from next week. Can see them nicking one on the break or a set piece. We go out losing 1 nil and become an absolute laughing stick

Yang did well when he came on where you are right is when Engels was putting in very good corners their then was a lack of physicality in the box for them

He was bought because we don’t have another forward, if we wanted rid of Kyogo we would have sold him then, clearly Rodgers didn’t want him to leave or he would have sold him then.

Plus Idah would have replaced him in the starting line up but he didn’t .

The part in bold, regarding Scales, I’m one of his critics but he was better than CCV last night and our best centre half nearly cost us a goal.

Their physio looked like a Greek kebab owner the way they had him sprinting about the pitch was comical

Grand old team to play for
A lot of these players did well in the CL last year. If we can get things back on track and bring in a few quality additions we could do alright.
